All of this information was helpful I have been looking at this site for years, and have used some of the information that I found to be helpful.  You do just need to read.  It is a shame that the sites that were available no longer are.  Furthermore, it infuriates me that doctors do not like to treat obesity.  They would rather treat all of the resulting medical conditions that obesity causes. Image
I completley understand why some people choose to try sites instead of dr's.  I took phentermine years ago with great success.  Now, I am almost treated as if I am a drug addict if I even bring it up to my dr.

Hi everyone...I am new to this forum.  I am somewhat confused and discouraged right now about where to find a reliable source.  Like everyone else, I am in no position to be ripped off.  Can someone please PM me some information.  I have been reading and reading and reading.  I feel like I am getting nowhere.

THIS DESERVES TO BE REPOSTED. COURTESY OF SUGAR T*TS:

I thought it might be useful to post some tips on how to actually use
this forum for new posters. These are some general rules of thumb, but YMMV [your mileage may vary]. This is a long post, but PLEASE READ IT IN ITS ENTIRETY

1) Most long time posters will not respond to PM requests for an "awesome" source if you are newly registered and have no posts adding to the quality of the forum.

It's sad that most people have become more secretive, but the fact is, thanks to crack downs from Uncle Sam and trouble makers, many good places have recently disappeared. The goal here is to share information but also to avoid sinking decent sources/sites. We may need to use them again...

2) There is already a thread for pretty much every topic you could
ever think of [from whether you can drink alcohol while taking phen to weird side effects to whether it increases your sex drive]. The phen forum has over 50 pages. It's all there for you to discover. So, you really don't need to rely on anyone's generosity or response to a PM. You have the power!

3) At the top of the page, there is a "search" button next to a
magnifying glass icon. If you click on this, you bring up a search page with some instructions. In the top box, you can search for key words "Search for Keywords: You can use AND to define words which must be in the results OR to define words which may be in the result and NOT to define words which should not be in the result. Use * as a wildcard for partial matches." So, if you were searching for info on Duromine, you would type that word in the first box on the right hand side of the page. If you then hit "enter", your search will bring up posts including the word Duromine in every single forum on Weight Loss Forums.

If, however, you look at the bottom part of the search query
screen, on the left hand side, you'll see the word Forum with a drop
down box beside it. Click on the arrow, and you get a list of all the
forums on this site. Select the Phentermine Forum, and your search will then be limited to posts about Duromine on this particular forum.

The search function is useful in many ways, but in particular for
checking whether a certain site you may have found is legit or not.
[Keeping in mind that in the online pharmacy world, that these things can change quickly].

4) When you read a poster's comments about a site or source, click
to see what other posts they have made. Maybe you'll see a pattern of "pimping" a site, which might mean the poster works for the site or source, and you'd probably want to stay away. Or, maybe by clicking on that person's posts, you'll see that he or she had success somewhere not mentioned in the original thread you started reading.

Also look to see how many posts are in a particular thread or how
many views a thread may have had - that might give you an indication about whether a good source has been mentioned.

It's important to form your own opinion - you never know what
someone else's motive is for posting what they do [although, I think
everyone here is honest for the most part]. Take your time before
making a decision.

5) Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, discretion is vital.
More than one good source has disappeared because some well-intentioned (others not so) posters gave out too much sensitive information -- not just here of course, but on other forums, too. So many people would not be coming here to find Phentermine if it were easy to get, so let's remember the goal is not to just get it once, but to keep good sources alive.

Added: 6) You may need to do LOTS of reading. If you're patient and put in the research time, you are much more likely to have a positive experience.

7) No one is trying to be mean to you or hurt your feelings if they don't answer your questions. If you want to be part of a community, you need to add to it. So join us. Post your experiences, whether it be success or failure, your diet tips, etc. Long-time members get frustrated seeing the same questions asked over and over again because it shows that a new poster has not even bothered to look over one or two pages of posts. If you don't help yourself, no one will want to help you.

8.) Do not openly post source's website addresses.

9) If you have found a website and you are not sure if it's legit, you
could try PM'ing a member to ask if they know of the site and if it's
okay to use. I think most people would be willing to answer such a PM since you're not asking for a source - just an opinion.

Random tips:

If you go to google, and click on images, you can search for
Phentermine images, so you can see what the A159 or E5000, etc, should
look like.

For possible drug interactions, you can go to drugdigest dot org and enter the different medications you are concerned about, and see if they might interact with Phentermine.

For info on legitimacy of sites, see whether there are any complaints on ripoffreport dot com.

Note: I hope this thread will be useful and will ease some of the
frustration "newbies" as well as "veteran" posters have been feeling of late. Please add any tips or suggestions.

Hey - good idea, baglady. Understandably, I think most people tend to go the last post in a thread...

Thanks for all the information! It has been really helpful, I too have been reading and reading and reading and decided to become a memeber. Thanks for taking the time to fill us "newbee's" in. I haven't been ripped off but my friend was and I too don't want to fall into that catagory. I LOVE how supportive everyone seems! I hope I can contribute to this site!

Hi everyone, I think I haven't stopped ready for 4 hours. I love the forum! So much information and wonderful people- while reading I laughed, felt sad, and even got angry! LOL It's great! I have a friend that's been taking the perscription phentermine since Jan of this year and has already lost 44 pounds. she looks great, she's happy and now after 7 years she has a boyfriend. Anyway, I have been interested in doing something like this, but want to learn more. I have taken a numerous amounts of different pills like Orovo, 7-XFB (or however it's spelled), Metabolife etc.
So listening in and learning about the "do's and don'ts" is something very valuable. Thank you for having these forums available.

Wow have I been out of the loop!  Originally got adipex from my Dr and I was very happy.  Ordered a few years ago and had no problems.  Recently quit smoking,  packed on the pounds so thought I would order online again (Dr doesn't think 40 lbs is a good enough reason to prescribe) was I in for a shock!  Things certainly have changed.  I ordered twice online recently and got ripped off.  I found an old pill bottle from a few years ago and googled the pharmacy and thank god came up with this forum.   I have been spending time reading here and want to thank everyone for the wealth of information.
