NEWBIE GUIDE & FAQ: How to Use the WLF

I thought it might be useful to post some tips on how to actually use this forum for new posters. These are some general rules of thumb, but YMMV [your mileage may vary]. This is a long post, but PLEASE READ IT IN ITS ENTIRETY.
1) Most long time posters will not respond to PM requests for an "awesome" source if you are newly registered and have no posts adding to the quality of the forum. It's sad that most people have become more secretive, but the fact is, thanks to crack downs from Uncle Sam and trouble makers, many good places have recently disappeared. The goal here is to share information but also to avoid sinking decent sources/sites. We may need to use them again...
2) There is already a thread for pretty much every topic you could ever think of [from whether you can drink alcohol while taking phen to weird side effects to whether it increases your sex drive]. The phen forum has over 90 pages. It's all there for you to discover. So, you really don't need to rely on anyone's generosity or response to a PM. You have the power!
3) At the top of the page, there is a "search" box. In the box, you can search by key words. So, if you were searching for info on Duromine, you would type that word in the box on the right hand side of the page. If you then hit "enter", your search will bring up posts including the word Duromine in every single forum on Weight Loss Forums. At that point, you can also click on "Advanced search" at the top of the simple search page. This takes you to a new search page and explains the different search parameters.
For example, if you look at the bottom part of the search query screen, on the left hand side, you'll see the word Forum with a drop down box beside it. Click on the arrow, and you get a list of all the forums on this site. Select the Phentermine Forum, and your search will then be limited to posts about Duromine on this particular forum.
The search function is useful in many ways, but in particular for checking whether a certain site you may have found is legit or not. [Keeping in mind that in the online pharmacy world, that these things can change quickly].
4) When you read a poster's comments about a site or source, click to see what other posts they have made. Maybe you'll see a pattern of "pimping" a site, which might mean the poster works for the site or source, and you'd probably want to stay away. Or, maybe by clicking on that person's posts, you'll see that he or she had success somewhere not mentioned in the original thread you started reading.
Also look to see how many posts are in a particular thread or how many views a thread may have had - that might give you an indication about whether a good source has been mentioned.
It's important to form your own opinion - you never know what someone else's motive is for posting what they do [although, I think everyone here is honest for the most part]. Take your time before making a decision.
5) Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, discretion is vital. More than one good source has disappeared because some well-intentioned (others not so) posters gave out too much sensitive information -- not just here of course, but on other forums, too. So many people would not be coming here to find Phentermine if it were easy to get, so let's remember the goal is not to just get it once, but to keep good sources alive.
Added:
6) You may need to do LOTS of reading. If you're patient and put in the research time, you are much more likely to have a positive experience.
7) No one is trying to be mean to you or hurt your feelings if they don't answer your questions. If you want to be part of a community, you need to add to it. So join us. Post your experiences, whether it be success or failure, your diet tips, etc. Long-time members get frustrated seeing the same questions asked over and over again because it shows that a new poster has not even bothered to look over one or two pages of posts. If you don't help yourself, no one will want to help you.
8.) Do not openly post website addresses.
9) If you have found a website and you are not sure if it's legit, you could try PM'ing a member to ask if they know of the site and if it's okay to use. I think most people would be willing to answer such a PM since you're not asking for a source - just an opinion.
Newly added:
10) BEWARE OF UNSOLICITED PMs RECOMMENDING SOURCES. ALWAYS DOUBLE-CHECK WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND SEARCH THE FORUM FOR FEEDBACK ON THE RECOMMENDED SOURCE(S).
Random tips:
If you go to google, and click on images, you can search for Phentermine images, so you can see what the A159 or E5000, etc, should look like.
For possible drug interactions, you can go to: http://www.drugdigest.org/DD/Interactio ... 9,,00.html and enter the different medications you are concerned about, and see if they might interact with Phentermine.
For info on legitimacy of sites, see my next post with the Ripoff Report web address.
Note: I hope this thread will be useful and will ease some of the frustration "newbies" as well as "veteran" posters have been feeling of late. Please add any tips or suggestions.

Hey I am a newbie here and that info is much appreciated. When I first came I saw people asking for pm's for sources and so not knowing any better I did the same and never any response. It was kind of frustrating at first, because I am here for the right reasons, to find some phen from a legit source, so I can lose some much needed weight. I understand the reasoning behind the pm's and why people are reluctant now due to all that has gone on. Anyways, hopefull this thread and what you wrote will help those of us who don't know the way things work here.
excellent...maybe some day ill come back and read the whole thing..
seems like common sense..but to explain that would be like defining normal...
