THERE IS NO QUICK FIX WEIGHT LOSS |
|
|
| Hi, i just wanted to tell everyone about myself, i grew up thin my family ate most of our foods from a garden, i used to eat raw turnips everyday and fresh peaches right off the tree. we ate this way because we were poor, there were 5 of us kids. at the time i did not know that this was actually healthy i just wanted candy and hamburgers and cokes like all the other kids, but i credit this to me staying healthy as a kid. we also stayed outside all day we did not have video games and toys or air conditioning for that matter, we had fans. i was also lucky in that at my school you went to pe everyday and you had to exercise everyday. we did not have overweight children like we do to day when i was growing up. i never knew what it was like to be fat until i had my daughter, the doctor told me that the reason i had gotten stretch marks so easy was because i never went through that fat stage growing up, my body stayed with in normal range my whole life. i weighed 162 pounds 2 months ago i am 142 now, but this was very hard for me, i have fallen off my diet so many times, i always had excuses, telling myself that i will start on monday and monday comes around i make another excuse because i can not help my self and i eat a hamburger and this cycle continues until i gain more weight. i finally decided to do something about it, i ordered a bottle of lipodrene and it really helped me i was able to help control my cravings, i have not drinkin a coke in 2 months i have drinkin only water or crystal light, when i go out i usually get a glass of tea, with splenda. i eat natural almonds for a snack. i think alot of people are looking for a quick fix, i to did this, i expected to lose it in a week and this is not going to happen.also starving yourself is worse because you end up eating more later. i started walking 2 miles everyday, to clear my mind and also so i would not go to bed with food on my stoamach, i am now walking 5 miles everyday. there are time when i do not want to do this, but i make myself do this, i walk outside i cannot walk 5 miles on a treadmill, i get to bored, so if you have this problem walk outside or try something else. i ordered power 90 with tony horton, and i love this program i have been on it for a week now, i do this during the day. if you feel hungry drink a glass of water if you are still hungry afterwards, then eat something. read the book your bodys many cries for water, you would be suprised that you are not always hungry you are thirsty. you have to take it one day at a time, do not try to cut everything out at once start out slow, this helped me. i know longer crave sweets or soda's. i still go out to eat with my husband , i just try to make better decisions about what i am going to eat, sometimes i feel like i am not losing inches fast enough, but you have to hang in there, it will come in time. i also have to tell you that i do not have a suportive husband, he is over weight and he eats all this junk in front of me and this used to mess me up, but i finally realized that he has the problem and he is not going to drag me with him, i also quit smoking 5 years ago, my husband smokes and still smokes in the house and i hate it but what can you do, the reason i am telling you this, is that you are going to have people in you life that are not very supportive or they tell you how fat you are and they are fat themselves or as soon as you start to lose inches it scares them or they become jealous and they try to temp you into failing because they are to weak themselves to do it. just remeber that you have to be strong and if you stick with it they might just follow your example. that is why i love this site it is for people like me who does not have any support line. this site keeps me motivated, thankyou!!!! (hope all this makes since), my caps lock is messed up. |
