I give up, I am gongto stop eating completely. I can't take this. I already lost so much weight and I feel like I am in a mental prision. all I do is eat Vegetables everynight. I go to the store and see such good food that I feel I can't have unless I want to gain weight back. like my father wanted to cook me pasta in tomato sauce with a hogie roll, as soon as he said pasta, I thouht right away.."carbs!!" so he said that I have to eat it because I am gonna get sick!, but whats the good of eating the pasta? I'll get heavy and be in bad shape again. I have so many cravings, Chinese takeout, Chicken tenders, Baked beans...I CAN'T HAVE ANY OF IT!!! dieting used to be fun, but I already lost all the weight. I was 358Lbs. now I am 169Lbs. all I do is starve and eat an Orange in the day..thats it! so if I can't have anything I want, ..than I will stop eating completely and I told my father to make the pasta, because I am going to barely touch it. I HATE FOOD!

I'm at a loss for words. You definitely left me dumbfounded. All I can think is, you poor thing. Listen, the most important thing you can do for yourself is change your attitude. Positive thinking will do wonders for you. It takes some practice but it will definitely make you feel different about your situation. Don't starve yourself, depriving yourself of everything. That's not bringing you any pleasure. Have a huge salad with a side of pasta. Moderation is the key. You need to enjoy life. I would rather have a little extra around the middle with a smile on my face than be a twig with a huge frown. You have to find a happy medium. Please, feel free to e-mail me. I would be more than happy to talk with you personally. We need to turn this thing around before it gets the best of you. Sad

Its sad hearing you like this.
Sure you can eat pasta or anything you want!!! If you like and your crave for something just go for it. Cravings may even be good at one point. Your body is telling you that it needs that food because it lacks something.

From 358Lbs to 169Lbs its such a long way. Its amazing, I have to congratulate you Applause .

I do not kn ow what to tell you except that you need to enjoy life and allow to have a treat now and then. You deserve it.

I am sorry everone, it's just that I hear so much that I am getting confused into thinking there is nothing I can eat anymore. I weigh 168 today. i'm 6"1 I eat just vegetables for dinner and fruit in the day..thats it! I want to eat some fruit in the day and at night a regular meal like Baked beans, pasta and brak and keep that as a main meal. but tonight I had the pasta 1/8 so thats 200 Cals. and I has a Hoagie roll and a half of another one and I had a lot of energy tonight, it was great!! this was my diet that made me lose a pound a day and game me dizzy spells:

Monday- 12:00 Pm = 1 Orange.
- 5:00 Pm = 1 Orange.
- 8:00 Pm = Baked Vegetables.

Tuesday- same.
- same.
- same.

Wednesday- same.
-same.
- 8:00 = Baked beans with Chicken tenders. or another meal.

Thursday- same.
- same.
- same.

Friday- Same.
-5:00 Pm = Rice cakes (11) sometimes whole bag (14)
-same

Saturday- same.
- same.
- same.

Sunday- Free day. chinese food, snacks. s nothing I can eat.

at the most you are eating about 300 calories a day on that diet, and i have heard anything below 900 is dangerous. how about increasing your calories, while at the same time increasing your exercise.
i am so happy you had pasta, i hope you ate it with your day so he could feel some relief. he is right, without more foods and nutritioon that what you have been eating, you will get sick.
maybe a multi-vitamin would be a good idea too.

Have you tried frozen meals. The healthy ones are proper portions and healthy foods (and most of them are pasta so you learn to eat it without guilt)

Have you ever had a week when you ate a little more than you felt you should, lately? Then, lost weight? That's because your body needs that food to keep your metabolism up, burning those calories. Living off oranges and a few vegetables isn't going to do it for you. You have done such a great job losing all that weight. Now you need to learn the proper diet to maintain it. Protein and carbs are a necessity for your health and energy. If you need help regulating what you should eat, go to a bookstore and browse around for a book that will help you do so. I'm sure some of our friends here on the forum could make some great recommendations. Dr. Phil even has a diet book and food guide that you might enjoy. Read the reviews on amazon.com. docbrown, ive read all of your posts and youre drivin me crazy! people are constantly giving you advice, and it goes in one ear and out the other because youre still eating lettuce and oranges all day! your brain NEEDS carbs. if youre dizzy, youre not getting enough food. like someone recommended b4, eat lean cuisine or healthy choice frozen dinners. each one is about 350 calories each. so if you eat 3 a day, youll STILL have about 200 calories to waste on the foods you love EVERY DAY!! want a snicker? take 2 or 3 bites and give it/throw it away! you cant deprive yourself of the foods your body craves, or youll be miserable (sound familiar?) youre trying to implement every diet on the planet, find ONE and stick with it. dr.phils book is great. your body is literally shutting down and going into survival mode, and storing everything as fat! just do the frozen dinner thing for a week, and report back to us. youll feel great, have more energy and not feel guilty and fat. all while eating the foods you love!
