My 3-Week Weight Loss Journal |
|
|
Hi! My name is Renay and I just got my 3-wk weight loss pack in the mail today. I'm starting it tomorrow. I'd like to use this forum as a method of tracking my progress and getting some much-needed encouragement through this process.
I have tried Nutri-Systems, Weight Watchers, LA Weight Loss, Atkins Diet (that worked wonders for me - I lost over 30 lbs!), The Zone Diet, and probably some that I have forgotten, but none of them, except for the Atkins Diet, have worked for me.
I've read lots of testimonials and hope that mine is a positive one. I have tried some other diet supplements and was very skeptical, but I figure you never know unless you try!
The reason I am trying this is I am 38 and have noticed a change in my metabolism. It seems to be slowing down. My mother recently had her metabolism levels tested and was rated almost non-existent. I have a feeling this might be genetic. I have been very discouraged in my inability to lose weight in the last two years. My goal is to kick-start my body to lose so I can feel that I am accomplishing something! I eat very healthy and watch my portions. I exercise at least three times a week; 30-45 min on a treadmill and 30 min weight training. I plan on increasing this along the way.
I'll try to post here every few days and want to weigh in on Saturdays. I'm not going to be a slave to the scale!

Good morning!
I took my Lipovarin and Thyroidil this morning, with 16 oz. of water. I had two scrambled eggs (one yolk), two pieces of turkey bacon and one piece of toasted whole wheat toast, no butter. I am used to drinking about four cans of Diet. Dr. Pepper each day, but since this supplement has caffeine, I am cutting those out, altogether.
I plan on having some leftover chicken chilequile for lunch, which is a dish combining rotisserie chicken (no skin) with tomatoes, 2 chipoltle chiles in adobo, minced garlic (1 tbsp) and olive oil (1 tbsp). It is usually served over chips, with sour cream and feta cheese, but I don't like cheese or sour cream and will forego the chips! I plan on having about 3 oz. of that, along with about 1-2 tbsp. homemade guacamole.
For dinner, I am making roasted salmon with a lemon relish.
As you can kind of see, I am really into cooking! My husband and I enjoy really great flavors and colors in our food, as well as presentation in plating. It is a rule in our house that we always eat together and my 6-yr. old son loves that! Not everyone can do that, but I think it makes for a satisfying eating experience and it keeps us from feeling like we need to go out all the time to have good food and fun. We have such a great time, talking and catching up with each other at the table, and my son tries new foods that he normally would turn his nose up at. Especially fish. I just tell him it's chicken! He eats it and says, "Hey! I like this chicken!" Hey, it's the chicken of the sea, right? (Wait, that's tuna. Oh wel!)
Anyway, I'll let you know how I did tomorrow.

Well, it looks like I was wrong about my starting weight. On the good side! I weighed myself this AM and I was at 148!
I don't think I could hve lost 9 lbs in one day, so I'm sure I started out a little above 148, probably 150. So that's good!
I haven't taken my morning doses or had breakfast yet, but here's how I felt yesterday:
Had a lot of energy. I didn't feel jittery or anything like that, just more energy, like I wanted to get up and go.
Felt hungry before I usually would. I'm assuming this is from the metabolism being revved up.
Had to pee a lot. Just drinking more water.
No headaches.
I'm going to try to keep from weighing too often; probably just on Saturdays.
Any words of encouragement or ideas you might have are appreciated.
Thanks!

I took my pills today and I've already gotten off track a little, but hope to make it up this evening:
Breakfast: 1 cranberry scone and about 6 oz. of Orangina (and orange and tonic water drink)
Lunch: Two chicken soft tacos (not fast food) with lettuce and guacamole; no cheese, no sour cream.
I've been drinking my water very regularly. Feeling pretty good!
I plan on having a Thai-steak salad for dinner.
I hope this'll be okay for today...

Hi Renay,
It looks good for me. Is Lipovarin suppressing your appetite?
Good luck and keep us posted. |

Good morning!
This is my 4th day on the 3-week weight loss program.
I'm feeling pretty good! My clothes are starting to feel a little roomier and I have lots of energy. I feel very motivated to work out at the gym.
Light, my appetite does seem to be suppressed somewhat. When I get hungry before a meal-time, I drink a big glass of water. That seems to take the pangs away. I also eat healthy snacks.
I don't want to fall into the trap of feeling deprived, like I'm missing out on anything!
Thanks for checking in on me.

Well, tomorrow will be my last day on the 3-week Lipovarin weight loss program with Thyrotril and Aquadrene. I was excited and motivated to lose weight on this plan and looked forward to jump-starting my metabolism, hoping to experience, at the very least, an eight pound weight loss.
I am disappointed and have not lost a pound.
What a total waste of $150.
The Lipovarin did boost my energy level initially, but I did not experience much appetite suppression. I have no idea what the Thyrotril was supposed to do, but whatever that was, it did not do it. And after starting on the Aquadrene, I have experienced cramping and constipation.
I am planning on posting on as many sites as I can that this program is a complete waste of money and effort.

I am really sorry to hear that Renay,
Do not give up. Keep on exercising and eating healthy and results should come.
What are your plans now?
Good luck. |

I was disappointed too..... |

I really know how you feel ...I followed the instructions well but do not show the result as I expected from their advertisements. It is a little disappointed and I felt ripped off because these products are expensive. And there were SO MANY colorful capsules to ingesting in my body with almost little or no results….I was really hoping the program will help.....after there’s one thing do benefit me is that my appetites did decreased…which is weird that I did not loose more weight?! |

| They do have a money back guaranty. Maybe you should ask for a refund. |

| I just took my first dosage this morning on an empty stomach. I feel full of energy and just wanting to be active doing something. The only side effect that I'm experiencing so far is frequency in going to the bath room.... So far so good. |
