so i tried a little experiment with low carb dieting.... but i don't think i could do it for even 3 days, let alone the initial 2 weeks... all i ate today was eggs, roast beef, and cheese, and by the end of the day, i was craving a big bowl of pasta. on top of that, all that fat makes my body feel disgusting. would ephedra defeat the purpose of low-carb anyway???
started back on lipodrene today... felt good, not too jittery. taking one pill a day til sunday, then upping it to 2 a day for 2 weeks. i'm PRAYING it works. maybe i should try and do bi-weekly weigh-ins instead of every day... i feel as though i lose more weight when i am not trying... or not being overly obsessive about it. i think i may be discouraging myself.
seo, how are you doing with your weight loss?? |

Nope, I could never do low carb, carbs are my weakness! I love them too much. I'm not a big believer in eliminating any food group from your diet as we need all of them. Everything in moderation? Just my thought. But, I have known people to drop crazy weight on adkins. I've also seen those same people look like they could kill someone for a bagel!
This week I'm down 2 more pounds. Not a great amount, but it's an amount and the scale's still moving so I'm a happy girl! How about you? Any results to post? |

LOL yeah weighing yourself can get to be an addiction I weigh myself every day at least once, for me it helps provide motivation, but it doesn't make or break my day (ok sometimes it makes my day) |

sorry i didn't post yesterday... was busy and did not have time.
anyway, i am up to 129 . at least it's not 130 AGAIN where i think i am doomed for life. i also took a day off lipodrene yesterday. i've kinda been slacking in the exercise department so i will get back on that today. i'm going to start working out 5 times a week for all of this month (just got new hand weights for resistance training ) ...leaving for vegas on June 30. my goal is to be at least 120 by then. |

i feel so disgusted with myself. my boyfriend is a fast food addict (of course he can eat whatever his stomach desires and still manages to weigh a measly 132 pounds at 5'10... i hate him for that). anyway, i'm not even gonna tell you what i ate yesterday but i felt so guilty that i worked out for an hour and a half. my weight doesn't seem to be budging. i'm upping my dosage to 2 pills today... i'm starting to get a bit discouraged i don't seem to have any self-discipline when it comes to food, but i'm good at forcing myself to exercise. i need to start cracking down because it looks as though i am just maintaining this weight.
note about lipodrene: it seems to feed off of food, as if food is fuel. i don't feel anything when i take it anymore unless i eat (usually an hour or two after i take it), then i can feel the effects. |

sorry, i feel like i am a posting addict lately... but i feel like if i tell someone about it, it motivates me more. anyway i had to announce that after taking my 2nd pill today i took a looong nap (only got 3 hours of sleep last night), woke up and weighed 2 pounds less than i did this morning. i even ate a satisfying lunch i also just tried to eat dinner before i started my workout but i am not hungry AT ALL... my brain OR my stomach... lol. i'm usually starving after i exercise so maybe i will try to eat then. i really think that starting slow on the lipodrene and upping the dosage after your body gets used to it is the best way to go. i have not felt the side effects i felt when i first started taking it at the full dosage. |

Rolyat,
We love you to post here. I am sorry that I can not give you any advices on Ephedra because I do not know it well.
Thanx for posting and letting us know your experience. |

I'm SO FRUSTRATED.
yesterday i took 2 lipodrene, ate about 1000 calories, exercised for about an hour and a half, and drank about 2 liters of water (a lot for me). i do not weigh any less than i did last night. maybe i am gaining muscle?
i guess i'm just confused because i ate less calories than my BMR, AND i exercised for a while. the scale should have budged a LITTLE bit.... right? |

Hi there~
I was reading your posting on Lipodrene and the 130lb (starting weight) for your 5'2" frame.
I am EXACTLY where you are at...weight, height, you name it. I as well am having challenges getting over the 128 weight. I feel like I put my body through a lot only to lose 10 lbs. This teeter-tottering thing is getting old.
I am taking two a day and wondering if my tolerance to it is just higher. I have noticed that you have to have a completely empty stomach and take the pills with only water to get an energized effect. Any kind of caffeine (like ice tea) will speed it up to (not that you should purposefully drink caffeinated beverages, but sometimes an iced tea just hits the spot on a hot day.) Frm my experience, I have noticed that your heartrate will change with caffeine intake, exercising, cleaning your bathrrom, doing laundry, etc.. It seems that once you get going, you get going and then it is easier to lose because you are feeding the fire by physical activity so-to-speak. However, the weight just goes back and forth for me. If I eat out one day, the scale throws me off by 1 or 2 lbs the next day...Oy!
Anyone else have any suggestions? |

Yup, I know EXACTLY what you mean. you are taking lipodrene right? like you, it only works for my on an empty stomach, and you are right, if i do so much as walk regular pace up a flight of stairs, my heart rate skyrockets. but yeah my weight is pretty much going back and forth 1-3 pounds. i feel like i can't do my one-day-a-week splurge anymore because all my hard work will go out the window . however, i am on BC and i'm starting to wonder if it is inhibiting my weight loss.... because i'm exercising like crazy with the ephedra and it's not doing much. right now i'm at 127.8 |
