Trying lipodrene

Thanks for posting, Cadence and best wishes on your goal! Please keep us updated- I am really interested in trying the Lypodrene myself, but I have not yet. You sound very smart about your plan to proceed with the dosage and you obviously know what you're doing.

Thanx both for the welcome. Not too much to report yet. Cutting the pills is like trying to cut thru cement blocks; they are really dense! I've cut one. 1/4 shattered. I got two perfect 1/4 pieces and one that was a bit smaller than 1/4. That is the one I took yesterday (Mon). No metabolic boost, which I expected b/c I took so little, but 3 hrs after taking it my appetite was wiped out for a few hours. Today (Tue) I took a full 1/4 piece. No noticable boost and no feelings of not being hungry. Four hours later I took the other 1/4 piece, and within 15 mins felt a bit of a boost. That was an hour ago. Right now, I feel a tad jittery, but nothing unpleasant. I feel as though I could eat dinner, but I have a feeling that my appetite will be killed for later tonight, which is just fine

So, for the next few days I'll take 1/4 to 1/2 depending on what feels right, and over the next couple of weeks I'll see if I have any results. I may go out and get some Metabolic Thyrolean, or an equivalent. Those are the pills that are supposed to keep your thyroid from storing what you eat as fat. Alone they do nothing, but I have found that paired with an ephedra supplement I had wonderful results about five years ago. I don't know if the M. T. pills had anything to do with it really, but it doesn't hurt to add them to an ephedra regimen. I'll let you know if I get some and how it works.

Emanual -- Thank you for your support. I know i have to stop weighing myself but it's an addiction... Believe me, I've tried countless times. I've just learned to not let it get to me.

Cadence -- You are more than welcome to post on my thread. I'm sure people are starting to get bored with me anyway..lol

**Updates: I stopped taking lipodrene. It just wasn't working for me. I started taking pure ephedrine HCL (the kind for asthma) paired with caffeine. I read somewhere that the ephedra extract in diet products can vary in ephedra alkaloids and that you are putting all that extra useless extract into your body for only 10-25mg of ephedra alkaloids. (For instance, 167mg of ma huang is only 10mg of "active" ephedra.) I am taking it just like I would take the lipodrene. It seems to be working wonderfully. I have been taking it for about a week and have lost another pound. I know this does not seem like a lot, but during the past week, I have been eating WHATEVER I felt like.... pizza, subway BMT's, cheeseburgers, fries, ice cream... (so i went a little crazy)... and did not gain 1 pound. ALSO, I have not exercised at all since Sunday June 18. I started working full time and it has just drained me and by the time I get home I am completely exhausted and crash until I have to work again. (I work at a summer camp and screaming kids on a sugar buzz can wear you out.) Anyway, sorry for the novel but I am now at 125.4 with no effort whatsoever.
My advice: If lipodrene or any other product is not working for you, TRY SOMETHING ELSE!!
I'm going to post one more time before I leave for Vegas on Friday. (can you believe it's that time already?) I dont' think I will get at my Vegas Goal Weight of 120, but I'll take 123 if i can get it.

I have been taking Lipodrene for about a month now. I am getting pretty discouraged 'cuz everyone taking it seems to have miraculous weight loss- except ME! Then I ran across rolyat's posts & see maybe I'm not the only one Lip doesn't work for?? Rolyat- you say you are using a "pure ephedrine HCL paired with caffeine". Do you mind telling me what it is- I think I need to try something else, too.

mscaptain-- there is a post in the ephedra forum called "ephedra vs. ephedrine". it compares the two. ephedrine hcl is pure ephedrine. it is synthetic, not an extract. it is sold under brands like Vasopro and Bolt Ephedrine as a bronchodilator & expectorant (for people with asthma). I am taking Biotek Ephedrine. You can find it online almost anywhere they sell ephedra-based products. It is super cheap too. I got 24 softgels for $5.99.

Ok, I know this has been discussed many times before, but since you're actually doing it, how exactly are you taking the pure ephedrine? Are you stacking with caffine and asparin? Just wondering. Also, how many mg's of ephedra (ephedrine?) are in your pills?

seo-- i'm only stacking it with the caffeine. i've read that the aspirin doesn't do much and can do bad things to your stomach after a while. there are 25mg of ephedrine in each pill, and i am taking 2 a day, with 200mg of caffeine each time. i have no problems sleeping at all. in fact, i probably sleep better (when i get sleep, that is ) .

i am at 125 still. didn't reach my goal but oh well... i look a lot better than i did at 130... leaving for vegas in the morning. happy 4th of july, everyone!

hey everyone -- i had a blast in Vegas... except sure enough, it made me gain 4 pounds back ...so much good food there!!! but i already lost 3 of it so it's not so bad. took a week off any sort of pill and now i'm starting up again.

i gained way more when i went to vegas! it can go fast if you kick it up a notch for a bit of time!
