Hi, This morning I experienced a really tight chest and shortness of breath. This lasted a couple of hours and then I was fine. (Was also sick twice this morning). Thought it could of been the tabs but when it wore off, i thought no more of it. Now, for the past half hour I have felt as though someone has their hands around my throat and squeezing.

Is this one of the more serious side effects of tabs or something else.

Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this. (Really do not want to stop taking tabs as desperate to lose weight, so I haven't spoke to doctor - yet!).

I would really talk to your doctor as no amount of weight loss is worth risking your life for. You may be sensitive to something in this pill and maybe something else would work better for you without the side effects.

Hi did you eat fat whilst taking the pills? My friend had a bad experience after eating pizza once she had been taking the pills for a few weeks, she felt dizzy, speech went slurred and she couldnt see, she stopped taking them for a day or 2 and was fine then, apparently if you eat fat whilst on the pills after not eating any fat for a while then you may get these side effects, if you get them again stop the pills and go to the doctor and have a check up, its the best way as then you can keep an eye on things and if everythings ok, continue with the pills once you are sure you feel ok. Maybe have a break in the week, eg one day off the pills, best to see your doctor though as he will know more about them and what to do to help, let me know how you get on
