I am wondering how I can naturally boost my metabolism. After Years of only eating once a day I'm sure my metabolism rates are way down, but I find it difficult to make my self eat breakfast or lunch. Scared of gaining even more weight I guess.

Just want to know what types of food and how often I should eat them. Any help would be great!

Hi Kristal,
Welcome to the Weight Loss Forums.

Yes, you can to naturally boost your metabolism. I am thinking right now at 2 easy, safe and fun to do it:

1. Alimentation:
Eat breakfast
Eat spicy
Eat 5-6 times per day smaller portions
Eat fruits and vegetables
Drink green tea

2. Exercising
Walk
Choose the stairs
Get plenty of sleep
Do any kind of sport and exercising.

Hope this helps and others will fill in what I've miss looked.

One of the best ways to boost your metabolism is to strength train. By putting on 10# of muscle your body will burn up to an extra 50# of fat a year.
