I know this isn't what you want to hear: but esting right and exercising is the only sure fire way to lose the weight and stay healthy.
Try doing little things that add up. Instead of tanning at the beach, play in the water. If everyone stops at McDonalds for a treat try having a happy meal with apple and caramel dip. Eat smaller portions and do anything active. I know where you are comming from as I was always the big girl when growing up, I know weight loss sounds hard, but it is only as hard as you percieve it to be. Just make sure that you are still going out and having fun, having a active life overall has been shown to beat an exercise program hands down for overall fitness because you are way more likely to stick with it. |

| For a 14 year old it shouldn't be that much difficult to lose weight. Just dont start stupid diet programs like Atkins etc you dont need all that. And no need to resort to vomiting either. You need to lose at least those 73 pounds to be a voluptuous woman...means youll be sexy with form, not fat okay? Skinny girls dont attract as much as gorgeous ones. You can safely lose 8 pounds each month so lets say you can be slim for next valentine. Im sorry if its not enough for you but be concious that losing weight rapidly means you can take it back all so rapidly.Plan your diets or ask a doctor to help you count up the nutrients and calories you eat up everyday. No need to go starving. Just burn up that same amount of calories everyday while doing sport. Example, skipping rope for one hour while keeping the rythm all the while burns up to 1000 calories. Swimming burns even more. So if you eat lets say 3000 calories per day, burn 3000 calories with sport and your body will still need more calories and use its own fat for the rest. |

I am 14 also looking to lose weight. For love handles:
1.) Cut sodium.
2.) Drink a lot of water.
3.) Try this exercise: Lie on your stomach, lift your feet and knees off the floor and "flutter kick" your legs as if you were swimming; do this for 15 seconds, then stop for 30 seconds. Repeat twice.
4.) Do crunches, or ab lounge.
5.) Cut your alcohol [if you drink alcohol].
6.) Do more cardio.
7.) Cut calories [got that handled, lol].
8.) Aerobic exercise, 3-5 days a week for 25-40 minutes.
Those are some of the best ways. I just did some searching about that about 20 minutes ago, so lucky you I found those... lol.
If you need any additional help, support, motivation, or anything, just PM me. |

I understand! |

Hey guys,
I definately understand your situation! I'm 19 now, but I've always had weight problems especially with my love handles. I found the best thing that worked for me was pilates. I still do cardio... I swim. I HATE running so I found another activity that I enjoy and that was swimming. Then, I do a 20 pilates program 4 times a week. It helps a lot. I let myself go over the past few months due to personal problems, but I'm getting back in the swing now. Don't give up! My best advice is to find an activity that you love to do. DONT DIET. Just eat healthy... cut out the caffine and junk. Whether its tennis, soccer, swimming, raquetball, or whatever... just find an activity and that can be your cardio! Good luck!

By the end of my 7th grade year, I weighed 186lbs. The summer before my 8th grade year, I drank a slimfast for breakfast (did eat a normal lunch and dinner) and did 1 thirty minute aerobics routine every day and lost 30 pounds. When I went back to school everyone was amazed at how much I lost (I didn't even realize it !! ) I managed to lose another 10 pounds before I went to the 9th grade and was skinny (until I turned 2 You can do it!!! |

The best weight loss plan combines sensible diet with exercise. Certainly, you can reduce your calorie intake. But it is also important to boost your metabolism, and that is best done through an exercise routine. Since you must burn a phenomenal amount of calories in order to lose pounds, exercise is crucial to long-term weight loss success.
But what if you don’t enjoy exercise? How can you possibly start an exercise program?
In short, you need motivation. This can come from a variety of sources. For instance, you might want to play your favorite up-tempo music during your exercise drills. This can provide the incentive you need in order to get moving. Another winning strategy is to employ the services of an exercise buddy. This can be your mate, a friend, or even your mother. You can encourage each other, helping each other to overcome various hurdles to regular exercise.
Another strategy is to base your exercise program on something you really enjoy. Even those of us who are not athletic usually have some physical activity that we look forward to, whether it’s volleyball or tennis, bowling or swing dancing. The type of activity isn’t as important as the fact that you are engaging in it regularly.
If at all possible, you should add strength training to your exercise regimen. Lifting weights can boost your metabolism, causing you to burn calories while also adding muscle to your frame. Strength training can also help you to guard against osteoporosis and other health problems.
You should also prioritize exercise. You should mark it in your daily planner and stick to a regular exercise schedule. The important thing is to make exercise a regular part of your life. It should not be limited to special occasions, or those times when you are in the mood. It needs to be as regular as breathing.

Eat healthy |
|
|
Eat a good healthy diet and get plenty of exercise. Choose foods that are real, for snacks. By real, I mean fruits and vegetables. Also, stay away from sugary drinks like soda. Just making one little improvement in your diet at a time will make a difference. Try just taking one bad thing away at a time. Like soda or something else that is unhealthy. It's a good idea to choose healthy eating and stick with it for life.
Good luck! |
