Tenuate?? has anyone tried this

I was taking phentermine, but doctor switched me to Tenuate. Said it is stronger. Has anyone ever tried this and if so, did it work?

I know Tenuate is an appetite suppressant available by medical prescription only that aims to restore normal eating behavior. However, I also know it’s habit forming, therefore it implies certain risks. But if you say your doctor prescribed it for you, I guess there’s no problem. Due to its content, Tenuate is related to amphetamines, which translates into adverse reactions including insomnia, anxiety, skin irruptions, hyperactivity….I mean, it’s definitely stronger than others, but it may turn out too risky, don’t you think?! Especially when this is only a temporary solution, not one for the rest of your life! Why don’t try something natural, based on herbal ingredients or something? Let me know what you decide!

Thanks for the input. I have tried everything under the sun to lose weight, even by exercising and cutting back on what I eat. Nothing seems to work. I am very active and don't see myself as a couch potato, so I just don't understand why I can't lose any weight. So, far these pills haven't given me too bad of side effects. I'm sleep deprived anyway, because of my 8 month old son. I don't feel jittery or nervous. So far I have lost 3 lbs and feel great. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

I just recieved a prescription for tenuate also! I too have a small baby ( 10 months) and was taking adipex with NO results. I will let you know how it works!

I decided to go back to taking fastin. I wasn't getting any results with the tenuate. So far I have last another 6 lbs. I hope the tenuate works for you, let me know.

i saw that you are going back to fasting,may i suggest combining the two,fasting plus tenuate, will get you the result you want.
i hv used it on and off for years, just when i put on weight (15-20 lbs) and need to take it off. i will say it works,only down side is your mouth is really really dry which causes bad breath,but use lemon water and it will help...
it is not the cure all but it works wonders you of course have to do something...it helps because you will hardly ever think about food....its ideal when combined with a fast!

Does that really work combining the 2? I still have some of the tenuate, but I didn't know I could take both of them at the same time. Are the side effects worse? Let me know. Thanks
