when to exercise...
does anyone know how long after eating carbs should you exercise? in other words, when are the carbs ready to burn for energy, and when are they turned to fat?

Exercise before you eat any carbs. You will burn more fat.
It doesn't really matter when you eat your carbs, either you will burn fat and store your carbs as fat later, or you will burn carbs. The most important thing to remember is your # of calories and making sure they come from wholesome foods.

The point is to get your body to burn those carbs. Exercise is compulsory irrespective of the time and carbs shouldn't exceed the right quantity for you and your life style. In short, what comes in must come out!
