Diet soda ice pops? |
|
|
| Popsicle just came out with Diet soda Ice pops, it's a multi-pack of 22 pops and the flavors are Diet A&W root beer, Diet Crush Orange soda, and Diet Dr. Pepper, and there are 15 Calories a pop and 2 grams of Sugar Alcohal and 1 Carbohydrate, They are so good!! but I feel I can only have them on my free day, I mean I lost 190 Lbs. I think I can have them, but if there diet soda pops, can I have them? on Sundays I eat the whole box of them, I melt them down a little to get them slushy and also it takes out some of the Calories. but these are really good!! |

Doc, glad to see you are back with us How has your eating been? Did you try frozen meals? As for the diet pops, use them as treats. Even if you have the entire box it is only 330 calories (probably less than a slush) That being said these are one of those things that you need to learn how to use portion control. Maybe just have a glass full instead of a whole box.
Conclusion, you shouldn't cut anything out of your diet completely, but if you eat healthy most of the time, a less than ideal snack is ok from time to time. |

I know what you mean about work
Sugar alcohols are chemical sugar without the calories. They sound like a great idea but in reality they keep you addicted to sugar. Also there are still some concerns about how safe some of the brands are in the long run. |

YES, docbrown, it is good to see you back! I was worried about you. It is great to hear that you have found a healthy weight for yourself and you know when you've gone too far. I was was concerned that you were setting yourself up for anorexia. Sounds like you are on the right track. Good for you!
One of the best things we can do is keep ourselves busy. If you're busy, your mind isn't always focused on food. I actually decided to dig a little goldfish pond in my backyard. Not only has it helped me burns some calories but I'm also not in the kitchen wondering what I should eat next. Boredom can be fattening! Remember, Moderation is the Key. My Best to You... |

| I've seen those and have been tempted to get some. I love the SF fudgesicles and popsicles. I remember as a kid we used to buy popsicles that tasted like 7-up. |
