I understand your dilemma and I empathize with you. I want the best for you, that is why I have thought long and hard about your situation. I do not feel that losing 40lbs in one month is safe. It would be safer, and quicker, if you would just chop your legs off. This way, your face will still be radiant and beautiful for your big day, rather than saggy and pale.

one thing no no aske dyou was how much do you weigh????if you are sitting at 210...heck yes yo can loose 40 lbs in a month...if you are at 140..then heck no!!!
all you need to do is go on a juice fast and you will have it off in no time, to really kick it up do a water fast in the middle of your juice fast.
its a safe way to rid your body of toxic waste which is FAT. dont let anyone tell you its not safe..they dont talk you out of mcdonalds do they???

Possible, but not healthy! You would be better off making permanent lifestyle changes - Eating fruits and vegetables and exercising.

Do you have a degree or specialized knowledge to say this is safe? Just because your body can handle a long term fast does not mean everyone can. Even on the website you link to they recommend doctor supervision. And yes most people here will try to talk you out of McDonalds. |

Im 6'3 and was 237 lbs on February, I decided to eat only healthy food and a lot of water for a month and go run 1 miles every morning, by the end of the month I could run 2 miles and lost 25 pounds, trust me, you can lose weight FAST and be healthier at the same time, I am 190 now and never ever had any kind of discompensation, 40 pounds might be just too much, why not start with 20?
My secret, lots of vegetables, Meat on decent proportions, absolute NO alcohol, no Sodas, NO PIZZA (trust me this can make you gain like 5 pounds a week if eaten constantly), no desserts, no chocolates, just some fruits, LOTS of water and 30 mins of aerobic excercise daily.
You will lose weight fast and feel very, very good trust me. |

| You have to do ALL that to lose weight fast, only eating well will make you lose 2 lbs a week at most, drinking lots of water instead of those darned sodas and beer will make you lose about 1 lb a week by itself, doing excercise alone wont get you more than 1 lb a week, but if you combine it all theres they create some kind of sinergy and you can get 5-7 lbs weekly, more than the sum of those!, oh yes, eat fiber cereals too! they help. |

| I think the maximum weight you can lose is 5pounds in a week. That is only possible when you follow some kind of low calories diet chart. 40 pounds is too much. A person lose 40pounds weight only in one case if he/she is seriously ill. |

Yeah, I agree with what some have said here... That's not healthy. I think is safer to lose the weight over time... that way the weight will hopefully stay off...
Check out this site 195.62.28.230/~weightw/ I think it may have some useful information for you.
What worked for me was exercise and smaller meals. I eat much smaller meals/snacks but I eat more often. So instead of eating 1 or 2 or 3 meals per day... I eat 5 times a day but I eat small portions, that together with an exercise routine will, in my opinion, work...
But have a look at the link I included... I'm sure you will find something useful there. |

| You know, Renne, it's not only about it being healthy or not, but I think it's worse that you set an inaccessible target and you'll get really disappointed when you'll see yourself unable to accomplish it. You'll get depressed and the next real diet would probably be delayed. I also know that weight and pounds often press on your whole existence and you tend to see reality different, usually in a negative way. It's normal to see those pounds off as soon as possible, but you only harm yourself with these impossible challenges. Take things easy, be patient and wise. Results will be amazing! Good luck! |
