false myths on fitness |
|
|
Hey, guys, I’m kinda new to this forum, but I got something to share. Here’s some world known false myths on fitness. You’ll be sooo surprised:
- sweat doesn’t mean you burned out calories (that’s a disappointed for me)
- energy consume occurs only 30 minutes after beginning the exercise (good to know)
- you can skip warm up (you gotta be crazy to do that; you’ll get to deal with serious injury)
- once a week exercise is enough (so not true; unfortunately, ladies it’s three times a week, at least)
- muscle fever means the training was effective (no, guys, it’s just the body isn’t ready for all that workout
- two hours after practice eating is forbidden (it’s true only if it’s not passed 6 p.m.)
So, how about that, chatters?! |

Sweating as a result of excercise normally means your body is hot and you would have used calories to get hot. Sweating does normally indirectly link to burning calories.
You consume energy as soon as you begin excercising. Your body will begin to burn its fat stores 20 - 30 minutes into the excercise so you need to train for atleast this length of time.
Don't ever skip warm up. You need to train regularly for weight loss and if your injured from skipping warm up how can you train.
Train for a min of 20 minutes 3 times a week. More if you can, but build up slow.
Eat 4 - 6 small healthy meals a day and avoid eating with 3 hours of bed time.

All about clothes |
|
|
| Another point which I would like to state is regarding the importance of proper clothing while performing any kind of workouts. As a general rule people should always go for loose-fitting clothes which allows the body parts to move freely. Again as already told exercise if done vigorously can generate extreme body heat so the choice of cloth material is also important. Make sure these points are followed for better achievement of the purpose. |

Another common myth which I've even heard come out of the mouth of trainers and other "experts" is that eating before bed will result in more weight (fat) gain. This is completly false. The time of day that you eat has nothing to do with how much of it you will store as fat.
It does make sense to match your food consumption with the amount of exercise you do (eat less if you have not been working out as much). |
