Way to go Bronccat! I love when people post here that they lost weight. Taking action always pays off.
Christine, Its something to admire that you find time to take care of yourself.

Luckysmile- I'm so sorry to hear that. We just never know when something like this can happen to us. Life is so precious!
Well last night my hubby made dinner for us (salmon & veggies) but then he made this huge desert it had everything from berries to ladyfingers & ice cream & even cookies. YUMMY!! Unfortunately I havent been able to work out since Tues because it's TOM again & I haven't been feeling good so I dont want to push it. When TOM is over I'm going back to working out as much as possible!
Have a great weekend!

Oh sienna...I'm right there with you. I haven't had pizza in over a month BUT last night I had to have it! I bagged my workout and just ate.
I have tennis at 10am and then I'm going to do my T-Tapp workout before coming home. Hopefully, that will make me feel less gluttonous.
I guess we must indulge once in awhile! Darn Maui Zaui pizza!
I am back on my NO DRINKING phase too!~ It does wonders on those stubborn spots!~
Have a great weekend everyone!

Pizza = EVIL
That's the one thing I have to completely swear off.
OK - this week's stats!
Down to 280 Now - didn't quite break 280 - but I was close.
Very "Monkish" all week. Working out alot and eating around 1200-1500 cals a day.
This will be a good week I bet! |

Good Job Bronccat!!
Yep - pizza sucks! It's so good though!
Note to self - Playing tennis in 110 degree heat is NOT FUN!
I tried to play yesterday for an hour an a half..it was rough.
I had a lesson at 9am and I have a clinic at 630 tonight. I may stay off the court tomorrow. I have been good with the food but not so great at teh scheduled protein snacks. I need a rhythm.
Unfortunately, I leave for a camping trip on Thursday and won't be back until Monday night. I have convinced my sister to bring her running shoes so we get some exercise but you HAVE to have s'mores around a campfire right!
Good luck this week everyone! I'll try and check in once before I go.

Hi everyone, I'm Back
This month has been abit of a write off for me as far as weight loss goes, but has been a big step for my overall weight loss plan. Looking back on the month has been a real eye opener as it has been one thing after the other but even though it caused me more than a few slipups it hasen't pulled me off the wagon yet. Last year if I would have had this month I probably would have curled up in front of the T.V. with chips and chocolate and stayed there all summer.
So the damage of this month... I went back up to 170#
The good news is I'm back to about 162# (just a little higher than I left off)
Now I need to get back into the grove of exercising, because except for going dancing I have seriously let that slide |

Alrightee...
Down to 278 this week. Last week was a little disappointing. Almost fasted for two days - then heavy meal trying to kick start metabolism. Rest of the week ate 1100-1300 cals / day.
Working out, golfing, etc.
Water consumption great on Golf days - ok others.
Hoping for 275 by next Monday!!!! |

Hi ALL!
Good job Brincat and HOWDY Luckysmile!
I have been out with an intercostal muscle strain. I got it playing tennis with Dad of course and then ignored the sore muscles and played the next day. SO, I have been resting it since last week and I finally went to the Doc's yesterday. I'm nice and loopy on pain meds and something for inflammation. I am hoping to be back in business by the end of the weekend.
I'm going through workout withdrawal!
Have a good weekend! I'll be in bed or on the couch!

Funny (almost not so) moment |

So, my wedding is on 9/2 - and it will be a scottish wedding. As such I ordered a custom made kilt in the tartan of my mom's maiden name.
When I ordered it I was 32 lbs. heavier. As such I expected it to be a little large.
It arrived Friday....with the help of Renee..and a team of Clydesdales - we got it buckled. I was sick, went straight to the workout room this morning.
Turns out - it was my Dad's kilt (different tartan, but very similar) and my should be about 4" larger.
WHEWWWWWWW!
It would be a lot easier to be "normal" or "average" - LOL |

| No weigh in Tuesday - will be out of town - look for me the following week. As of this morning I was down 1 pound, despite a "heavy" (for me) dinner last night. (Two tortillas, stuffed with grilled chicken, peppers and skim cheese). |

Hello All!
Broncat-Good work on being down a pound and thank goodness it was the wrong kilt!
I finally went to the Chiropractor today. I've never been but I knew this little problem in my ribs was NOT going to correct itself. I think it did some good. I go back tomorrow for deep tissue work on that spot and then 1 little visit to fine tune.
Next week I play in my first tennis tournament in 20 years. I should be good to go by then.
Happy Tuesday! |

Where is everyone?? I guess it's that time of year.
I'm almost back to 100%. THE chiro strained my rotator cuff doing some adjustment. THAT was fun. It's almost better and my back is closer. I think by next week it should be fine again. I have only been playing tennis and watching what I eat. Since tennis really tests my ribcage, I didn't want to overwork it with other exercise.
I will start back in with T-Tapp as soon I feel normal.
Good luck in the fitness journey!!
