Hello ALL!

STARTS - NOW!! - (for newbies and lurkers..start ANYTIME Wink )
ENDS - Labor Day - Monday September 4th!

The July Challenge is ending! I usually like shorter challenges but I think we are all so busy during the summer that this will work well around vacations, etc.

Introduce yourself
Give us some of your weight loss/fitness history
State your GOALS (They needn't just be fitness oriented)
Goal examples - Clothing Size, caloric intake, days per week of exercise, add weights, inch loss, a long walk per week, limit desserts/junk food

THEN just keep us up to date on your progress!!

I've been around awhile and I would have to say that I am less concerned with weight. For me, it's been more about inches, fat %, and clothes. I fell off the wagon last challenge with family functions, illnesses, etc. I am just looking to regain what I lost and keep a routine. I use T-Tapp as a foundation for fitness and build all other activities around it.

Goals -
Kick off the beginning with a Bootcamp of T-Tapp
Maintain an every other day schedule of a Total T-Tapp workout
Tennis minimum 2x/week
Journal calories to maintain macronutrient ratios
Get to to 17% Bodyfat..eventually
Meditate
Finish 1 book per week (I have 5 going)
Finish 2 major household projects
Water, Water, Water!!
Kiddos - SF Zoo, Marine World, Camping

That's about it~~

GOOD LUCK!!

Christine

Well, no takers yet....so I'll report my Day 1.

I took all measurements yesterday and I am surprisingly smaller after my 3 week hiatus. I guess all the tennis moved things around a bit. Weight and Bodyfat% are the same.

I'm re-doing my Blitz which is 42 days of different combos of exercise. It keeps me disciplined. With my tennis schedule as crazy as it is...this should be interesting.

AM exercises out of the way. Total Workout will come during naptime....that's the one I'm dreading. EEK!

Hi Christine, I would love to join the challenge! I'm 24 and weigh 140, I've dropped 5 lbs by cutting sugar from my diet and joining a gym. I really want to get down to 130lbs. 10 lbs shouldn't be this hard to lose, but I am stuck. I started trimspa this morning, but am only taking the smallest dose 2 a day. So far so good. I've eaten well and swam a lot. The hardest thing is trying to be consistent. So let me know how your week goes and I'll be sure to check in as well, Amanda

Amanda- WELCOME!! Ah - being consistent plagues us all as the most difficult part of the process! I'm struggling to get back into a routine as well. If it's your last 10lbs....it will take a bit of work. You have age on your side though!!

I am up and SORE!! I finally completed my 1st T-Tapp workout in AGES and then followed it up with 2hrs of tennis! I forgot how hard core T-Tapp can be. I am waiting for my excedrine to kick in and knocking out my workout for the day.

Happy Thursday!!

Yeah the last 10lbs can be hard to lose. I've been trying to lose 15lbs for awhile now & I've reach a plateau. I get discourage then I fall off the wagon but then I get back on.

Happytapper~ I'm on board for the Labor Day Challenge.

My goals are to

- continue working out in the early morning & use my new weight set

- no red meat

- to select no sugar added on items that offer it

- enjoy my summer

Hi everyone Very Happy

I'm AWOL for awhile I'll be back soon. I've been away due to a friend having a major bike accident so you probably won't see me for a while longer. I'll be back soon hopefully without major weight gain.

Hey Christine - we'll combine the two as you suggested!!

Here's my post from my Labor day thread...

So, I'm getting hitched on this date and I have set a goal for myself.

I will try to update my stats weekly.

I started at 307 back in May - now I'm at 287. I want to be at 250 by the wedding date.

37 lbs. in 53 days!

To give you a little history - I weighed 410+ in 1999 - got down to 190 but then they (FDA) took my AM300 (ma huang) away. Now I am fighting the fight everyday..

Hello All!

OUCH! OUCH OUCH OUCH! I hurt and making it down the stairs this morning was grueling! However, the puffiness is going away already and my stomach and thighs are right back to the shape I prefer!

Workout #3 due this afternoon!

Sienna- Nice to see you back! Enjoying summer is a great goal!

Luckysmile- I'm sorry to hear about your friend! Luckily, you are there to lend a hand! Keep us posted and pop in whenever!!

Broncat- WELCOME! I'm glad we got together on this challenge! WOW! You have done so much work...that's great! A few people abusing Ma Huang ruins it for everyone else! We will be here to cheer you on as the BIG DAY nears!

Hi Light! Hope all is well!

Happy FRIDAY!!

Christine

Hi everyone, I'll join the challenge once things return back to normal again.

As for my friend Tom it was my best friends long term boyfriend that was in the accident. He has masive brain damage so they decided to pull the plug yesterday afternoon, but I have not yet heard if he has passed. I thank you for your well wishes they really mean alot. I'm now praying for those who are affected most, especially the truck driver who was at fault as it was an accident and had gone to school with Tom.

I'll be back around to post stats after everything has wound down, and my weight is a little more stable.

Good Morning!

Feeling much less sore today and working out helped a ton yesterday. Sweat was just pouring off of me. It felt good. I'm off this AM to play some tennis in the heat. I easily polish off 2 Liters of water in 2 hrs.

Luckysmile -That's heart breaking. We will keep everyone in our prayers.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Namaste,

Christine

283.5 this morning so down 3.5 lbs. from last week!!!!

I have been "good" LOL and working out religiously. I'll have to keep this pace - or near it to get there. We'll see.

I would LOVE to break the 280 mark by next Monday!!!!

Good Job Broncat! Weight is easier to trim away in the beginning so take advantage of it now!

I had a super busy day of tennis lessons in the AM, swimming lessons for both girls in the afternoon, and a tennis mixer at night. We got home at 9pm. What a day!

I'm off to the gym in a few to do sprints and then T-Tapp. Waving to everyone!
