tips and tricks on weight loss anyone? |
|
|
I’ve been looking for some general tips to lose weight on the forum, but couldn’t find a topic like this. Anyone wants to give it a shot? I’d be excited to read it, because I don’t have time (or patience ) to read all those diet plans. |

Hi, Brenna! You said I’ve been looking for some general tips to lose weight on the forum, but couldn’t find a topic like this. Anyone wants to give it a shot? I’d be excited to read it, because I don’t have time (or patience ) to read all those diet plans.
I can see you have little time to read the posts, although there’re some great stuff that really helps.
Anyway, some of this tips of general and work great within or without any diet:
- eat breakfast right after getting up, because you’ll feel less hungry and eat less;
- whenever hungry do some breathing exercise: hold your breath for 10 seconds and then breath normally; do that 10 times every day;
- weird, but true: enjoy every meal, you’ll feel full before you really get full;
- replace junk food with fruit and cereals;
That’s it for now, but I’ll get back to you. |

There’d also be these tips:
drink a large glass of water every time hunger tries to take over
drink a big cup of hot green tea (‘cause it relaxes the nervous system and adjusts metabolism)
try to focus on any other activity than eating (maybe work you’ll be more successful this way )
I’m sure there’s more to it than that. I’m eager to learn more! Keep posting! |

Sour cabbage juice between meals improves the results of any diet, guys! Tested by me! The thing is that is helps detoxify intestines and adjusts blood pressure. |

Hello! After all this time of dieting , I can say this is the most important thing: never give up on health! And for that, never give up on fat free dairies. They provide the body with vital nutrients without the fat supplement. Take care, everybody! |

| I’ve never gain so much weight like the time when I drank only two or three glasses of water a day. Everything I ate seemed to transform into fat in an instant. I started drinking 8 glasses of water a day, tea in the morning and natural fruit juice instead or along with meals and the difference was visible in a relatively short while. Anyway I feel better on the inside, too! |

| Beeswaxster is definitely right! Liquids help the body burn fat and suppress appetite (especially mineral water). And another tip: be sure you are as relaxed as possible when you eat. Your stomach will digest food easier and faster when you’re sitting down and chewing slowly. Everything works together! |

| More then that, drinking water is a great way to detox your body and increase your muscles flexibility. |

Hello there! Here’s what I do: I eat an apple before any meal. It suppresses appetite, besides it’s healthier to eat fruit before meals than after, because you don’t get stomach acidity. |

Avoid stressful foods |
|
|
Here's what a nutritionist was saying couple of days ago on TV. He mentioned certain ailments considered to be stressful for the body, even though basic nutrients. Anyway, the main idea is to consume them moderately. Here's what's on the list:
- caffeine
- alcohol
- sweets
- salty foods
- fat foods
- cow milk and dairies
- red meat
- refined and cooked foods
- vegetal processed foods
- spicy foods |

| I've been reading recently that nutritionists agreed that the ideal diet should contain at least one of each ailment group. In other words, we should include in our diet tomatoes, cabbage, celery, pears, green peppers, bananas, potatoes, green salad, anions, spinach or asparagus. For hypertensive people, the diet should be combined with fish. Patients with blood stream deficiencies should associate them with mushrooms or grilled fat free meat. |
