Two months on Reductil |
|
|
Hi, I have just got my third script of reductil, I am just starting the third month on this drug.
I have found that if I take it for four days, then have one day off I get better results with curbing my hunger. I have no bad side effects, but I am just blown away by how well I feel while taking it. I have a bad knee and I do not understand how or why it happens but my knee is better on the days I take it. My mood is better, I have more energy and enthusiasm for life and just generally have a better outlook on life. I can not attribute this feeling of wellness to the weightloss, it is directly associated with taking the tablets. Are these one of those drugs that started out as an antidepressant but had the side effect of curbing the appetite?
I have the dry mouth but I figure more water is a good thing. I totally lost all caffeine cravings and gave up diet coke on day one without even realising it.
I am loosing a steady 2kgs a week, so I am now 8kgs lighter than I was when I started taking reductil and I have to admit its been totally painless. |

| Actually I am doing rediculously low levels of exersice because I have a sore knee that slows me down. I am trying to go for a walk daily, but its certainly no long distance power walk. Good luck with it and I shall be interested to hear of your progress. |

Hi newme,
well done on your loss but surely if you're losing a steady 2kg a week and you're atarting your third month that means you have been on it 8weeks and in my book 8 times 2 is 16 so should you not have lost 16kg instead of 8???? |

reductil |

Hi
I have just started reductil , only two days in and found you all by obviously googling. Where would we be without google?
Anyway years ago I did the high speed diet tabs that made me high as a kite physically but flat mood and no sex drive. Lost loads of weight back then but ruined my relationship.
I have the dry mouth with redcutil but find sucking a sweet now and then helps as cola gives me an even drier mouth.
I slept fitfully last night, but on the old tablests years ago I never slept so that is an improvement.
One thing I have noticed though is a nagging ache in my kidneys. I do not have any physical problems in that area as I have had bloods and urine done recently as routine checks.
Anyone else have this pain?
Wish me luck as I need to lose 20 kilos. |

I took the liberty to edit some of the typos. Google have a great tool that comes with the Google Toolbar http://toolbar.google.com/.
Its can check your spellings into forums and posts.
Good luck. |

Not loosing |
|

| I feel inspired that you are loosing on this, I however am not. I'm taking Merida (10mg) and have just started my second month. So far I have lost 2lbs but it has been with a lot of effort. And I still want to snack and overeat. Do you think that the other med is stonger that Merida? Anyone? |
