I need a beach diet! |
|
|
| Hello! That’s my first post here, hope to find some help. I’m not what you’d usually call overweight, but I have a weight balance problem. It seems that I tend to gain weight (not excessively, but visibly) in the summer. And I feel awful, especially when I love to go to the beach! Could anyone help me out with some short term diets or anything like that, plz? |

I got something for you, beach girls! My younger sister always takes this diet two weeks before beach time:
Boil 200g of rice in water with a small amount of salt (too much salt retains water!!), then add 2 teaspoons of olive oil and divide it into small portions that would last you throughout the day. Eat it with one apple in the morning, with green salad at lunch and with 200g of boiled veggies in the evening. |

I heard something about a fruit diet, but it’s hard to separate “good fruit” from “bad fruit”…. |

| All fruits are good. Some are recommended for weight loss and other are not. The "bad fruits" are the ones with high sugar levels such as grapes but you should not worry about it. |

| I think I know what you’re talking about, Cybill2000. It’s the vitamin rich fruit and veggie diet, right? You get to eat 300g of fruit in the morning with a small yoghurt, carrot and potato soup at lunch and green salad in the evening, with fruit as snacks. You’re right about the good and bad fruit! What I know of, just like Light said, it’s the grapes, bananas and olives you should stay away from. Anyway, I usually never eat more than one banana and around 150g of grapes a day. My sister shakes off 4 pounds a day with these season diets… |

The sour cabbage diet is perfect for rapid weight loss, plus it improves digestion, suppresses appetite and supplies the body with complex B and C vitamins, potassium, magnesium and flour. This is what you got to do:
- for breakfast you eat one slice of integral bread, 100g of fat free cow cheese, one apple and one teaspoon of fruit jelly;
- for lunch and dinner, cook sour cabbage with two carrots and spices.
In between meals drink 1-2 glasses of sour cabbage juice. |

| I’m very happy with my dairies diet. I eat 2 slices of toasted integral bread with 50g of fat free cow cheese and 3 teaspoons of fruit jelly in the morning. Lunch consists in tomato and cucumbers salads with Swiss cheese and in the evening I have 1 small yoghurt and 1 slice of integral bread. Snacks consist of one glass of fat free milk, yoghurts and fat free cheese. |

Ok so I lost 50lbs in 3 months drinking 2 Herbalife shakes a day, and having a regular meal for dinner.
I didnt have to count calories, starve myself with rice!! Or eat only fruit. These shakes fill you up, and they taste really awesome. Plus all the nutrition you get from it makes you feel good, and have more energy.

maybe The South Beach Diet?
"There are basically three phases in SB Diet. You eat normal portion sizes In Phase 1, but all carbohydrate are restricted. This is the strictest phase in the diet and will last for two weeks. It emphasizes lean meats, such as chicken, turkey, fish, and shellfish. Low-Glycemic-index vegetables are allowed as well as low-fat cheese, nuts, eggs. Dieters should expect to lose somewhere between 8 to 12 pounds. In Phase 2, some of the banned food are slowly introduced while weight loss continue to around 1-2 pounds per week. You should remain on it until you lost your desired amount of weight. Phase 3 is for maintenance and should be followed for life. Is all about maintaining your desired weight with a healthy balanced diet. Should your weight begin to climb, simply return to Phase 1."

| Hi. I am not sure where the weight gain is on your body, but if it tends to be only or mainly in the belly area, I am told that a low-carb approach will help you lose belly fat first - try Atkins, South Beach, or Somersize. Hope this helps! |
