Beyonce Knowles maple syrup weight loss diet and recipe plan

Hello,
I have read that Beyonce Knowles had lost quite some pounds on a 10 days diet on an Maple Syrup diet. Does anyone knows how and if this works?

I don't know about her diet, but I know she lost a whole lot of weight! She was supposed to look just like skinny Diana Ross and she did! Yet, I don't know how healthy that is... :roll:

Hi there! Yes, I've tried the Master Cleanser (that's what it's called)

I did it for seven days before vacation - - the diet is basically known as a cleanser. Since our bodies do not release all the toxins and don't digest every food we eat, it's recommended to clean all that out.

It's done with Lemon, Organic Mapel Syrup Grade B, Cheyenne Pepper and water. It's a great tasting. So, for every 8 oz glass of water you will squeeze 1/2 of lemon/lime, 1 tablespoon of Maple Syrup and a bit of Cheyenne Pepper.. you can also log on the internet and type up Lemon Master Cleanser and you'll get a lot of sites to look up the recipe. The original and the one Beyone did is exactly what I did....it did not work for me - my metabolism is horrible. When you're on this cleanser you cannot eat anything - no food at all. All you're doing is cleaning out your body with the Lemon Drink and you can also add some chicken broth in the evening...but no food for 7-10 days.

So, no solid food for up to 10 days?! :shock: Isn't this a little exaggerated? I understand, it's detox, but shouldn't there be a post detox diet, too? I think it's a little risky anyway.

C'mon, guys, I've heard about detoxifications before, but they're meant for certain health conditions like high cholesterol, liver disorders etc. Besides, somebody specialized in medicine is constantly keeping an eye on you during detox, so that you won't get hurt or anything. I'm sure somebody did that for Beyonce, too. But that's not my or your case...

I've started the detox today. Plan to do it for five days. Will let you know the results. The drink tastes GREAT -by the way.

I did this about 2 years ago, I lasted 6 and a half days on only the lemon water with pepper, but by the last day i had very little energy and it did not feel healthy. I would not recommend doing this unless you are on time off/vacation. I was a college student on summer vacation at the time and hadnt yet gotten a job.

I lost about 20 pounds in 6 days on the diet, felt extremely tired the entire time, and put back on about 5 of those pounds once I started eating again.

I really don't think I would do it again unless there was some kind of occasion which required me to cut weight very quickly, it was not a good replacement for a healthy diet and exercise for sustained weight loss.

I am a 6'4" male who weighed about 275 pounds at the start of the cleanse. I have since lost about 30 more pounds through a standard low-calorie diet with exercise, and maintain a weight of 230-235.

As a warning I would like to say that by the 7th day (during which I quit) I felt dizzy when I would stand up, walked unevenly, and basically lay down on the couch for most of the day watching tv with my roommate, who was also on the fast. I never felt like I was physically in danger, but it was not healthy. The plan was to go a full 10 days, but neither myself nor my roommate felt comfortable continuing, it felt like we would end up fainting whenever we tried to stand or something.

*IF* you decide to try this diet, when you get back on food, eat light, fruits, vegetables, stuff you can digest easily like yogurt. My roommate broke down and ate 2 large sandwiches on the 7th day and was throwing them up by that evening.

Anyway thats my personal experience with it, others might be able to handle it better, just be careful and dont hesistate to stop if it feels unhealthy.

I'm sure Kevin's case isn't out of common at all. It's not a wonder either that Beyonce did only to play that part and quitted as soon as it was possible. There are hundreds of other more healthy diet plans out there and this isn't the ideal one at all! Take care, guys!

My friend and I heard about this maple syrub diet and I want to try it and just lose like 10 lbs. But because you can't eat, how many times a day are you allowed to drink this concoction? Cause I would get really hungry. And once you get off of it what should you eat to mantain the weight loss?

the diet says to drink a minimum of 6 cups per day

2 days after you're supposed to drink orange juice

and then eat raw fruits for breakfast then a salad for dinner

after continue a healthy diet

what kink of water do u use for the master cleasning diet. i have a page of all the things u need but it said that u have to have a special kind of water.it said u can't use the bottle water so kind if anyone don't mind[/b]
