Hi,

I don'y know if this is a way to drum up business, or if it is the truth. I got this letter from shopwars.com and I am assuming they are speaking the truth and just in case they are, I thought I would pass it on.
=============

decided with the FDA to uphold the ban on ephedra. This means that Ephedra is
one step closer to being banned once again. To see more details, view this
link from The Salt Lake Tribune.

It's so great to see our couts in action, banning this apparently eeevil drug, while drunk drivers and child molesters continue to receive second chances, and let's not even mention something we know for sure is deadly (tobacco) but as far as I know cigarettes are in no danger of being banned... OMG- Cadence, today I got the same email from them (ShopWars) and I was just about to post this warning too!

I am sooooooo angry about this news! Evil or Very Mad

Of course, I just ordered a bottle of an ephedra product from them, that perfectly matches the product that I had successfully used for a year and a half before the ban, and it is working for me wonderfully! Now- this ban crap is interfering all over again! I followed the link and read the article and my hopes are all but crushed now. As I posted previously, for months now I've been looking to find a supplement that would work for me the way that Stacker 2 with ephedra had. By chance, last week I found something on ShopWars called Original Stacked Ephedra and sure enough, the ingredients and dosage match the old Stacker 2 with ephedra and so do my results. I've taken the product for 4 days now and lost 3 pounds- and, just like the last time, I do not even to take them "3 times daily" as the label suggests. I'm being very judicious in the amount that I'm taking and I've eliminated all other caffeine from my diet (switched to decaf coffee imediately and added lots of spring water) just to be even more careful not to over stimulate my system. Why the hell can't we adults be allowed to make this choice for ourselves???? My argument is that so long as the government can sell their nasty, deadly cancer sticks (cigarettes), they have no business banning reasonable amounts of ephedra! I really loath the idea of having to make an emergency large purchase of the product just so that I can stock up on it before it gets pulled again! Personally, I'm not even in a position to do that right now. The bottle of 100 tablets that I just received will hold me for at least 2-3 months... but then I'm screwed again. I wasn't even going to post anything yet about what I'm taking until at least 2-3 weeks of using it, so that I could give out decent information about how it is working and how it would make me feel etc.

Plenty of dangerously skinny people abuse things like laxatives in order to remain impossibly thin, but I don't see those products being removed from stores! Nor should they be, because when used properly, they don't kill people!! ARRRRRR**!!!*$$##**** Thanks for letting me vent. JG

JG, vent all you like - I've vented in threads before as you may recall. I have decided that Lipodrene doesn't do anything other than give me a lift, so I am going back into the threads to look for a post I made where I said something out there perfectly matched the ingredients of the old HC - but the Stacker 2 match might work just as well - they were all sort of the same.

Like you, I always underdosed and altered my diet accordingly in terms of caffeine etc, and did not exercise while on the stuff. WHY do WE have to be penalized for the actions of those who acted irresponsibly????

Isn't that always the way it is though?

Tobacco would be gone if it were not for "Big Tobacco Money." If ephedra had that sort of cash we would not need to worry.

I have yet to read the article - I don't want to depress myself, and the letter from SW did that all by itself Sad

As a distributor for Herbalean, My stomach is doing flip flops! The word from the main office is that it looks like this is headed to the Supreme Court. As of now, we can still sell because there is an appeal. I believe the ban was reinforced by 3 judges so now it will go to the 9 judges. If I get any further info, I will definitely be sure to share. If you've been thinking about ordering, you're welcome to give me a call, 1-877-793-2401, or e-mail dpwilkens@cox.net . It ain't over 'til it's over! Confused

C-mom,

This is really a bad situation all the way around, and I emphathize with your business predicament! Oh, but I bet the pharmaceutical companies are doing the happy dance right now.
