Im guilty of weighing myself everyday and i weighed in at i pound LESS today than i did the other day. Thats motivation for me to stay on track with my eating. it seemed like nothing would take that first pound off. and now ive made a start!

right now, keeping it off is the most important thing. i dont mind waiting a bit t lose the next pound as long as i dont gain that damn pound back again.

By the way, my dr said not to do the diet pill thing. Confused
he tried to lecture me about diet and excersize being all i need but of course i didnt tell him im on it. does he really think i didnt try d and e a bunch of times already? Rolling Eyes

Ive noticed changes in my appetite, which is weird since cylaris dosent advertise as a hunger suppressant.

well i find myself hungry, yet when i eat i find that i cant eat all my food-even small portions. this is weird when im having dinner with my family. I dont really want people to know im dieting, i just want them to notice my weightloss Razz

by the way, i weighed myself this morning and found i lost half a pound...yea!

I am new.. Started @ 271 on Friday June 1st. Here are my meals - same always - so far.

Breakfast - 2 slices Whole wheat bread with thin layer Smuckers reduced fat peanut butter

Lunch - Salad (lots of greens), lettuce tomatoes, cucumbers, and grilled chicken.

Snack - 1 slice whole wheat with thin layer Smucker reduce fat peanut butter - I have alternated that or 20 organic raw almonds - NOT SALTED/NO HONEY... RAW.. they are good

Dinner - The same as lunch.

OH Yeah and LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER.. I am up to like gallon and half of water/day. Dropped my coffee, dropped my pepsi, dropped candy, and just over the weekend following the one twice a day and today for the first time 2 twice a day of Cylaris.

Walk 1/2 hour every day... mostly before going to work...

Dropped 11 lbs.

I need to lose weight. I am 5'10" but look shorter because of my weight.

I will attempt to update when I face the scale again on Friday.

David

reading your post i see i need to make changes to my diet. I ceased junk food (ice cream was the hardest to leave alone) but havent reduced portions enough. Although im losing weight, it seems to be slower than others on this site.

Thanks!

Well you know, it's not easy... you can get motivated from many things.. but you know what motivated me to do it..

I have 2 boys, one 7 years old and one 11 years old. Of course, the 7 year old thinks I am god... The 11 year old is now starting his phases.. and he knows more than the world.. but sometimes even nasty, unintended comments from your own child can help wake you up...

My 11 year old and I were having a conversation... I was telling him how I was walking two miles a day at lunch-time at work... He chuckled, and said "don't lie, you can't even walk a block" followed by here is the smack... "have you seen yourself in a mirror lately." my eyes watered, I sucked it up and told him that he was right, I was FAT and that even though I don't look like I do much I actually have started to walk so I can get the weight off.

As a side note.. that night I could not sleep.. my head kept repeating my son's words - "Have you seen yourself in the mirror lately?"

I took a long look at myself in the mirror the next morning, and a day later I began walking mornings... eating "better"... than after two weeks, and losing only 5 pounds on May 31st, I purchased the Cylaris. On June 1st I began walking but this time I was walking much faster, NOT because of the cylaris, I don't take it until after my walk, I just pushed myself harder. I get home take my "magic dose" and go into the shower, I then make myself my pb/wheatbread sandwich and off to work I go..

Sorry to spill it out.. but that is why I joined the forum.. I haven't told anyone else what motivated me to get started.. but my son's critique is more important to me than anyone elses.. even my own...

My wife actually woke up Monday (yesterday) morning and told me my face was changing.. It looked thinner.. That made me feel good.. only I can't wait for my son to notice.. that will be my ultimate reward.

God bless and let's win this battle!

First Off - Happy birthday!

I don't disagree with the "hidden" calories in any food.. however there is less in the salads than anything else.. The Dressing and croutons MIGHT be your worst enemy.

Hi everyone! I just found this forum and I hope that it is a good resource for encouragement for me over the next few months. I have tried lots of things to help me lose weight and each time I lose a little and then gain it back. I really need to shed these pounds and I am definitely going to do it this time!

I bought Cylaris a week ago today on a whim actually and I have not seen a lot of harsh side effects. I feel fuller faster and have more energy. The only negative thing is that I have been a little gassier than usual. Wink I have only lost 2 pounds since I started, although I do think that slow and steady wins the race! I look forward to discussing weight loss with you!

You can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens you and me! I have been overweight for about 10 years now, 3 children, commute to work an hour daily, no time to work out! I just started taking Cylaris on July 1, 2007 and have been eating small proportions of low fat foods, fruits and veggies. Also, drinking lots of water. I am 32 years old, weigh at start 224, my goal is to feel better and look better in my clothes 150.

My husband started taking Cylaris about a month ago. His starting weight was 248. He is now 215!!! He has been on a strict diet and exercise routine so that contributed a lot to his weight loss. He's tried every diet pill out there but he's never lost as much weight with others as he has with this one. I think it's time for me to join the Cylaris club!

Hi to everyone!

I am currently at 185 lbs
5'5'' tall
Goal 130

I tried the WuLong tea as advertised on Oprah! It didnt work for me. I am 47 and going through some kind of menopause thing, It is hard to loose any weight. I was thinking about trying the Eroved but it is expensive, and I just happened to stumble onto this website. And I am really glad I did because you all seem so nice, and supportive of one another. I think I will try to find a wal mart around and try this first, as I am inspired by all of your success stories! Also it is much more affordable. So what do I have to loose? Hee Hee Hee

I will let you know if i loose any lbs.
