South Beach Diet success

Hello,
I am 18, I've started South Beach Diet 7 days ago and I lost about 8 pounds. I feel great, the cravings aren't very bad - to a normal limit. Sometimes I really feel the urge to have something sweet and I just eat a free Carb Smart fudge bar. I am happy that Ive found something I realy like and works for me.

Don't you think that 8lbs is a lot of weight to lose in 7 days?? That is like a 1lbs a day?? I would be very interested in what you are eating on a daily basis. I could see 8 lbs in like 2-3 weeks, but 8lbs in 7 days is a bit much.
is water weight that was lost.. not to discourage you in any way!!! because 8lbs is still 8lbs gone! keep it up good job
on South Beach, 8 lbs in the first week isn't strange at all. You lose 8-13 lbs in the first 2 weeks, generally. I ended up losing 15 the first two weeks I was on the diet. The rest of the time you'll lose 1-2 lbs a week, but the first week is a very nice jump start. It's mostly water weight, but it's also your body flushing your system clean. Good job and keep it up!
I agree with jellybelly, I just started the Ph1 on Jan. 2 and I've lost 13 lbs.!
