I've been the same weight for the past 14 years. I knew what to do to loose weight, but not how to do it, consistently. Every diet I tried left me hungry, irritable and with no energy. I had gotten to the place where I had resigned myself to being overweight for the rest of my life.
Then a friend told me about Medifast. What made a different from every thing else I tried was the free health coach. (I found mine at 3wayfit.com) When I know I'm going to some place, like my parents, where I have a hard time staying on track, she helps arm me with the right attitude and strategies.
I recently went through a plateau where I wasn't losing any weight. In just a few minutes, my coach figured out I wasn't drinking enough water. Apparently, your body gets flushed out with lots of water. I increased my water intake and am loosing again.
The food’s pretty good. If you don’t like something, like oatmeal, you can change it up by adding less water, baking small drops of the “batter” and make cookies. I know I’m going to make these after I’ve lost all my weight. They’re that good. |
