The people that recommended lowering overall body fat are absolutely correct. There is no such thing as spot reduction. However, once you have eliminated the excess body fat, a good exercise would be hanging leg lifts, particularly focussed on the obliques. Just lift your legs up to the sides, and build those muscles.

love handles
im a 16 year old male, and ive been working out for around 2-3 years now. i hav almost no body fat what so evr. however i do hav hips "love handles" i think what a lot of yall trainers are misunderstanding is that the "love handles" are not fat at all, its bone. what would we need to workout to help build muscle over that area so we could our bodies in the V shape.
