a lifestyle change
Well, I'm 18 and my weight has gone up and down for a while around 140-155 lb. for the past couple of years. The last time I weighed myself I was at 150 and I want to lose 30 more. I'm keeping track of what I eat and how muchI eat, in a journal which surprisingly has been helping me not to just eat out of habit. I started taking Slimquick almost a week ago and along with that I've been having a slimfast for breakfast. Since I've been doing this I've only been eating when my body was actually hungry, which has been less frequent, and so I usually have the slimfast, a small meal and a snack each day.
I've been feeling more energetic and lighter since I've started. And I feel like I've been losing weight though I haven't weighed myself yet. I don't have a scale at my house, which is probably a good thing, but I have access to one a few times a week so I can weigh myself regularly if I want to.
I'm planning on adding parts of the South Beach Diet into my diet plan. I don't want to start something that I know I wont be able to stick to completely so I'm putting different things together to make my own diet. I also want it to be something that isn't just a temporary diet 'til I lose the weight that I want to but the start of my lifestyle.
I'll keep track of my progress on here. Thanks a bunch to all of you who have encouraged me just by your stories and determination!
