JJ, you sound just like some "angry woman" that posted here before & made a fool of her self... Apparently some people just can't make their point without being angry & rude in the process...
Shame... |

Dr. Westhoff |

If these products were not safe than no one would be using them! Ephedra was the BEST fat burner around and very safe IF TAKEN IN RECOMMENDED DOSAGES. Its the idiots who took 5x's the amount or who were in such bad shape that gave Ephedra a bad name. Advantra Z has some of the same principles like ephedra but is nothing like it. So please learn more about it before post nonsense. 7-Leto is the mian active ingredient and very EFFECTIVE in weight lose but will cause slight headachesa and nausea in about 2% of people but that goes with the territory. So if 2% of people have to go through some slight headaches or nausea in order to reach their goals than so be it. And thats the WORST that can happen. |
I am highly suspicious of Dr. Westhoff and his motivation. I deal with physicians that are board certified in many spcialties and I have yet to hear one speak with such defensiveness...unless there is money involved. Somebody is making a buck here and could it be the good "Doctor"? Bio-chemistry is very hard work I trust you know what you are doing both in the lab and out. |

No thyroid gland |
|
|
| Just like most of you, I've been doing some research and reading some of the reviews about this product so I could ultimately decide whether to try it or not. But one thing that's really holding me back is the fact that this product, or most diet pills for that matter, promises to boost ones metabolism, which I believe is done through our thyroid gland. Mine was surgically removed 10 years ago, so I am currently on thyroid meds. My questions is, if I don't have a thyroid gland, how, if even possible, will this product enhance my metabolism? |

Hi, I am not a doctor, but do have tyroid problems. I suppose if you are currantly taking thyroid meds these are obviosuly doing the job that your thyroids would have done. Lipovarin has the Coral Calcium ingredient which I understand is high in yodo which people are given such as L-Tiroxina med which our body need if we have low or posible no thyroid funcion. This med taken in large dosses and for a long period of time could be very harmful if you have normal or high throid funcion. It is a natural producto and normaly within a few days of not taking it, it will be completly out of your body system. But taken in high quantities could give you heart problems.and other side efects.
I have had Lipovarin sent and waiting for it to arrive, I shall take special care as I am on L_Tiroxina which is for low Thyroid function. I may be a good idea for me not to take my med until I have finished taking the Lipovarin. Although I personal have very little wieght problem. I have 5 kg in extra wieght which I would be grateful to loose, as I am very small in height and 5kg is like someone taller with 20kg and my thyroid med are not helping me with my wieght problem. So please wish me luck. I will be in contact with all to let you know how I am getting on. |

| you are correct in saying that if you dont have a thyroid your metabolism will not be affected. Anyone should know that if they know anything about the human body. It seems that Lipovarin works so well that alot of people from other companies come on here and try to talk about their product but to no avail and they get mad and try to trash Lipovarin. Its not a miracle pill people! but it is the BEST over the counter weighgt loss aid we have seen in a while. I also do commend Dr. Westhoff for her insigfht and comments from time to time and it sucks that some people try to bash her. SHame Shame |

I did the whole thing! |
|
|
I did the 3 week rapid weight loss.
I I did get results....BUT I really want to stress.....I attribute most of the weight loss to the exercise and calorie cutting. You will lose weight using this strategy alone. Lipovarin helped me psychologically "get things going" but there defintitely were side effects.
Insomnia
Stomach Cramps
Diarrhea (the worst when I started aquadrene)
restlessness
Exhaustion - I did NOT get a burst of energy...quite the opposite.
Mood swings/irritability
NOW - my total weight loss was 11LBS in 3 weeks but one week and 7lbs came flying back so most of it is water.
Of these types of products....I found Lipovarin to be the best. If I needed to lose weight quickly again...would I take it...SURE. However, it really is just a good tool to get you started. AT LEAST FROM MY EXPERIENCE.
FYI!

tomorrow will be my second day on this stuff. no side effects with two pills. tomorrow i will try two morw and then i will increase my dosage to three. no side effects yet. maybe its because i am used to alot of caffeine. i used to drink coffe sometimes two or three cups a day plus all the pepsi's - maybe that is what is causing me to gain all this weight. sometimes i would even drink more than four or five cans of sodas plus the cups of coffee. but i avent had any sodas or coffee in a while. maybe about two weeks. since i knew that i would be starting the pills and it talks about all this caffeine i dont want to take any chances. but i am taking chances only by taking the pilss right. who knows but i have confidence. i will do right until my bottle of pills finish. and if i lose some pounds i will be buying another bottle again. |

Well this lipovarin seems to be working great for me. The side of effects have pretty much gone away.
Bibi-Are you taking 6 pills a day? I'm taking 1 in the morning & 2 in the afternoon. Well your going to feel hungry still but it does help curve your appetite. I eat every 2 to 3 hours small meals fruit & veggies. The worst thing to do is not eat. It's what your eating. Well good luck on your weight loss!!!

| The statement by "Dr Westhof" of "If these products were not safe than no one would be using them!" Is one of the most rediculous Ive heard. I am a pharmacologist and toxicologist but even lay people should be aware of many adverse effects drugs and suppliments being "discovered" years after use. These substance are uncontroled from the standpoint of safety and efficacy (read the FDA disclaimer on the lable). Be very careful particularly of strong advocated of questionable remedies. |

DrJim are you really a phamacologist?
I would think that your educators would have taught you on your first day at school that the exterior listed ingredient portion of a pharmaceutical bottle is called a Label not a "lable" as you so non-eloquently describe. Start brushing up on your medical books guy. Go back to your day job. |
