phen and going to the dentist
yesterday I went to the dentist and the numbing meds wouldn't work and after numbing me 3 times he finally tried some kind of numbing block . I ended up feeling everything.
I know phen can affect anesthia but this I didn't really think about. The dentist said it is possible that it was the phen.
It was scary.

that's nuts
i have to go see the dentist March 9th for some fillings and a crown. Should i just stop taking the phen like 2 days before or something?? u think thats enough? i dont wanna feel anything. i think i would punch the doctor in the face!!!LOL i hope a day or 2 without the phen i should be fine. what do u think??
I too think the numbing medication is affected by the phen. About 8 months ago I had to get alot of work done to my front teeth and the dentist gave me much more than the usual amount of needles and I still felt it. Before taking phen the numbing medication always worked. I did not take phen that day but still think it was in my system. My dentist was surprized that all the injections he gave were not enough and was afraid to give me too much. It was a horrible experience and if it were to do it again, I'd go off them for about a week before the appointment to really get the phen out of my system.

When visiting the dentist you are supposed to tell them you are currently taking phentermine.
I forgot what they do, but they give you something a little different to numb you. Something to do with epinepherine. you need more or less I can't really remember since it has been so long since I have been to the dentist.
