3 Week Rapid Weight Loss and Low Carb - My Experience

I purchased Lipovarin mainly b/c of what I read on this forum and decided to document my experience for those readers that may have similar circumstances to me. I workout at least 8 hours per week. I have been following Atkins for several years. I gained about 15 lbs since October I have no idea why because I stayed on plan and exercised regularly. I like the fact that this system covers the thyroid and water retention so hope to see some results. I use fitday.com to record my food and usually stay under 2000 calories and 20 carbs. I drink well over 150 ozs of water per day. Ocassionally I will drink no caffeine tea but other than that just water.

Since my system has adjusted to those I started today with the full dosage of Lipovarin and Thyrotril instead of the half dosage I was planning. Prior to last week I have not taken any diet pills for quite some time. Many years back I did lose 30 lbs on Metabolife with Ephedra.
I am a scale watcher so unlike most of the threads on here I will try to post my weight every day.
Day 1:
3 Lipovarin; 2 Thyrotril (prebreakfast and midafternoon)
weight: 148.4 (was 146.4 yesterday so a drop today is not necessarily a result of the first day of Lipovarin but water weight)
exercise: 40 minute Treadmill and 10 minutes upper body with 8 lb weights
side effects: 2 hours after first dosage feeling a little strange with slight headache

I ordered the 3 week program last week off of eBay for $129. I was too impatient to wait so have been using Relacore and Thermadrol since last Friday. Since my system has adjusted to those I started today with the full dosage of Lipovarin and Thyrotril instead of the half dosage I was planning. Prior to last week I have not taken any diet pills for quite some time. Many years back I did lose 30 lbs on Metabolife with Ephedra.

good job Suz im sure you will like the results....i lost over 10lbs on Lipovarin the first month and than i added the Thyrotril in the second month and am still dropping weight!!!!
Unfortunately it is that time of the month so I probably won't see any results for a few days. I did walk on the treadmill again last night for an hour and forty minutes. Mainly because I was headed for a binge and haven't had that feeling in a very long time so needed to do something to keep me from eating. I didn't have any problem sleeping since I walked so long right before bed.
Day 2: 149.4 lbs
workout: 40 minutes Taebo Flex video
No side effects with this morning's dosage but I feel so bad b/c of TTOTM I wouldn't be able to tell anyway.
I went a little over on my carbs yesterday thanks to some green beans that I forgot how high in carbs they were until after the fact. I would have been alright but then I caved on crunchy peanut butter (that I have not had in 2 months) but I did stop after 2 tablespoons this time but that still put me way over my carb limit. Most likely where the extra lb came from this morning.

Day 3: 149
I did really bad yesterday on food and water. I went too long without eating and was starving when I got home late. I even ate a mini snickers in addition to a half jar of macadamas, a diet big Red, two tablespoons of crunchy peanut butter plus a big dinner. I have not had those cravings for months. I stopped after one snickers though even though I could have eaten the whole bag with no problem. I don't know if this bingeing urge and sugar cravings are the Lipovarin or TTOTM so I will have to wait another few days to find out. I hope it is the later. I cannot believe I was down a half pound after this it was a nice surprise.
I did 50 minutes of Taebo Bootcamp with five pound weights this morning. Then I took the 3 Lipovarin and 2 Thyrotril at about 6:20. I had my normal breakfast at about 7. It is now about 9:30 and I am a little light headed. Yesterday I felt fine all morning so I hope this passes soon.
I have been noticing a nice side effect. I took Thermodrol a few days before starting this and it caused my face to breakout. I have always had that problem with diet pills that I have taken before. I am noticing that it is not getting any worse and may actually be improving. So if this product gets the scale moving down and doesn't cause acne I will be a fan.

I was hoping to be out of the 150s for good but here it is again. I'm not too happy about that. I stayed on plan yesterday but seemed to be hungrier than usual. If this stuff has an appetite supressant it sure isn't working for me. I'm going to stick it out. It is a little scary though that I am already up 3-1/2 lbs from my low last week but then again I am one that the weight fluctuates a lot. Also this morning I did more strength training than cardio which usually doesn't move the scale down anyway.
This morning I did 25+ minutes of Karen Voights AM workout with 3 and 5 lb weights. Then I did 15+ minutes on the Nordic Track for the first time in a long time. I am going to try to do more of that and less Treadmill. Hopefully by the end of next week I will be built up to 30 minutes. Then I did 15+ on the treadmill at 4 mph and an incline of 8. Not as tough of a workout as I like but I was feeling a little sluggish this morning and am glad I got that much in.

I am starting to get a little discouraged. The appetite suppressant doesn't seem to work on me. I have a splitting headache this morning also. I only did 30 minutes on the Nordic track and hopefully will get in at least another 30 minutes of exercise tonight. I am going to stick it out at least until I get to the part where I start the Aquadrene. I really wished TTOTM didn't start at the same time that I started this program b/c an initial weightloss would have really helped mentally. Unfortunately I think TTOTM was caused by the Lipovarin and was probably a good thing.

Keep at it. I think Scotty Bass said that when he started he did not have much success the first week and then his weight loss took off.
Also, are you drinking plenty of water. If not, it may help your headaches if you did so.

I am up 6 lbs in less than a week and am starting to get a little concerned and wondering if I am stupid sticking this out for another 2 weeks.
I have been over sleeping in the morning b/c my schedule is getting messed up b/c I am not as tired at night. I think I am going to start walking on the treadmill at night in addition to my morning exercise this week and see if that helps.
Thanks Saundra for the tip. I didn't get my usual 150+ ozs of water yesterday but will definitely get it today. I don't do as well on the weekends with water b/c it is not as convenient to run to the bathroom every 30-40 minutes as it is during the week

It is about 3:15 PM and I have noticed I am not starving today the first time since I started on Lipovarin. Knock on wood I also do not have sugar cravings. At first I was thinking it was all of the water I am drinking today or that TTOTM cravings have finally left but then I remembered that I took some Chromium Picolinate this morning to see if that would help curb the appetite. It must have worked.
So far today I have had breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack plus at least 200 ozs of water. I feel pretty good. I did 30 minutes on the Nordic Track and 10 minutes upper body with 8 lb weights this morning. Also throughout the day I have done about 10 sets of 10 pushups per set. I usually do 20 per set but at 20 I tend to talk myself out of doing them so I thought a less challenging number I would at least get them done. The weather is pretty nice today so I will either work on the fence tonight or get some riding in and then I hope to get an hour on the treadmill or a combo of the treadmill and Nordic Track. That should leave little time for eating more than dinner.
I was reading an article on the Body for Life site about interval training and thought maybe I would start walking/running on the treadmill at night where I walk during the program and run during the commercials. I used to do this but it has been awhile. If I can remain on plan the rest of the day I hope to see a decent loss tomorrow. That would help so much with the motivation. I think some of the 2.5 lb gain from yesterday had to have been water so at least half of that should be gone if I don't over do it tonight.
I think I will keep taking the Chromium Picolinate for a couple days and see if that helps.

I think interval training is great. I do workout videos that simulate interval training.
Also, I have been taking Green Tea mints which are supposed to help with appetite. Green Tea gum is also available.
I think you and I started more or less on the same day. For me going into this week, I have to say that I am not as hungry as I was last week.

I don't want to jinx myself but I think I got the hunger thing under control. I took chromium picolinate yesterday morning and with dinner and was not hungry at all. That is the first time in a long time that I didn't eat anything after dinner. All of the water also paid off.
