If you want to try something that is safe and legal instead of ephedra try Rhodiola. Its not a magic bullet. It doesn't burn a ton of calories just by taking it, but I do have incredible work outs when I take it before the gym.

This stuff was orginally developed by Russian scientists to be given to the cosminots to increase there perfromance. Its used by some Russian Olympic athletes and a few American wrestlers that I know of.
