Hi Everyone....  just taken my first pill about an hour ago... terrified to leave the house!!!   just had shredded wheat for my breakfast ...  following Rosemary Conley diet as suggested by the weight management clinic at my GP's    ... I have a months supply and a follow up appt in 3 weeks....  I am going to give this my all now....  currently weigh 275lbs  ....  looking to lose 135lbs with the help of Xenical.... I think the side effects will re-affirm a balanced diet....  I really don't want any oily issues :-)

Hi guys,
Just thought i'd "blog" my (hopeful) weight loss story! I just went to my GP to get Xenical as a last ditch attempt at losing weight "naturally" before looking into gastric bands / other surgeries. After having a baby 6 months ago, I still weigh a back-breaking 254lbs. At 5foot 4 this is massively over-weight and coming from someone who only weighed 105lbs a few years ago - is very hard to swallow (pity all the food hadnt been, aye??)
My GP has given me 12 weeks supply and I start them tomorrow! Wish me luck! I have to lose 9lbs (5%) in these first twelve weeks, and I'm optimistic as thats less than 1lb a week and I plan to follow a low-fat diet and exercise 3-5 times a week. Just invested in a home cross-trainer and a treadmill so there's no going back this time!
I currently wear a size 22-24 (bottom) and 20-22 (top). I am hoping to eventually be around 126lbs and a UK size 10 - a mammoth challenge and half my body weight but I;m nothing if not optimistic and determined!!
Wish me luck, I'll update regularly to let you know how I get on!
Love Soon-to-be- Yummy-Mummy!

I think it is crucial to diet and exercise whilst taking Xenical.  Dont think of it as a quick & easy route to weight loss.  I have been taking the tablets (prescribed by my GP) for two weeks now but havent seemed to lose anything probably because I havent been exercising or planning a healthy diet.  Im sure it will work if I put more effort in.
The oily farts and poos are not very nice but I have to stick to it as I have gained so much weight and find myself sweating all the time and feeling tired all the time.  Not a nice look in front of the boyfriend.
Something has to be done!
I hope I am as successful as some of you have been.

I took xenical about a year ago, I only took two doses.  After messing up several pairs of drawers, I was done.

hi everyone, i started takeing them 2 wks ago, im 5ft and was 12 stone, im trying to be carefull with what i eat, i think what would be healthy and also fill me up, i also eat before i feed the kids, that way i dont get tempted to stuff their grub, i feel that i should of lost more weight than i have, which is just a couple of pounds, but, its something, ive started a gym today, to try and help things along, even though i work 12hr shifts on a ward in a hospital, im not going to give up, im 49 and feel like a puffa fish.. good luck to everyone, oh yeh, the toilet thing, its ok if you dont eat anything greasey, flora light is good, boiled rice, baked fish even baked beans on wholemeal bread, and noodles. bye 4 now

Ok People, I wasn't going to post. And I spose I could charge for my secret, but i'm not going too. This worked for me, I lost 125 pounds. I took a spoon full of Metamucil  every 2 days while on xenical, no more oily problems, also I broke the xenical caps apart and only swallowed the white powder, So there, it worked great for me.

Hello All,
I started Xenical
about 3 weeks ago after
2 weeks of Atkins and losing
almost 9 lbs, I think I went
wild with Xenical thinking it would
be the miracle drug and I could eat
what I wanted.  It's Christmas and I have
not pigged out but I have eaten foods other
than low fat.  I have not lost any weight as of yet,
in fact, I gained almost all I had lost on Atkins back.
I'm now trying to eat low-fat i.e. fruits and veggies
and will see what happens.  I've had the bouts
of diarrhea and stained a few undies but it is well
worth it if I can lose about 20 lbs.  I exercise almost 3-4
times a week on a regular basis so hopefully restricting my
diet will help.  Will keep you posted.
