| If everyone is eating so healthy and exercising why do you need to take the pill? I feel the pill would do more hard than good to your health. Just my opinion. |

| Scattered throughout this thread are people saying - if you're going to eat low fat, low calorie and exercise, you don't need the pill - I would like to answer why you DO - or at least why I do. The pill is like Antabuse for alcoholics - when you get a craving you don't give in because you know you will get sick. That helps me STICK to the diet. The benefit of losing additional weight (that 50%) more is a nice bonus. |

| I completely agree. It's easy to say "I'll cheat on my diet, just this once". Next thing you know, the diet is out the window. The treatment effects are strong motivation to stick with my diet and yes, I know that sticking to a diet is a matter of willpower, but Alli helps get you past those moments of weakness. |

| First of all, if you aren't taking or planning to take the pill, why are YOU even wasting your time commenting on this page. I think if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. People that are willing to try this product are expecting results, and your comments are not necessary. |

1st week!!!!!!!! |
|
|
Ok it has been a week now since i have been on alli, and i must say i am AMAZED! I have been really bad though i haven't exercised at all (been very lazy) and i have pigged out more than normal, because i have been on my period . What is amazing is i always weigh a couple pounds more during this time well not now . I weighed myself after a week of being lazy and pigging out and i am TWO POUNDS LESS!!! It is just wild how normally i would be a little heavier from the water weight and stuff but i'm not i actually lost two pounds WOW! Oh my what if i lost more and i do have water weight oh i cannot wait 3 more days and i will know for sure if i only lost 2 pounds or if i lost more. Oh and also i still have not seen any treatment effects at all. I have always had a hard time going to the restroom and now it is alot easier. Not sure if that is the fiber in the multi vit. i am taking or what. But no accidents no uh oh's at all. And i have total control when i do have to go it's just way easier now. And i have eaten over 15 grams of fat in one sitting i know that's bad i just craved it so bad oh I HATE PERIODS . Well i will weigh again when i am off and the bloating goes away and see if the scale goes down and will let everyone know. |

Alli |

I bought Alli for $39.95 from naturallyhealthyone .com and lost almost 15lbs in about 4 weeks. I had no side effects really just watch your fat intake or your tummy hurts and your on the pot.
I was also on a diet and going to the gym 4 days a week doing cardio for about a half hour each day to burn some of the energy. |

You would think with changing your diet and eating lower fat would have took off some weight even without the pill. Hmmmmm i am at a loss here but i will say i noticed the more fat i ate the better it worked for me. |

| Alli sounds like it works well while you are on it? Does the weight come back when you stop using it? |

| I have been on alli for 4 days now and no side affects at all. I am actually constipated so I started taking fiber pills. I feel great and even though it is to early to tell, I know I have lost a pound or two. |

it works |
|
|
| this product really does work. i must admit that i have not followed a strict diet plan, and yet i am still losing weight. i am certain that once i am finished with my summer vacation and back into my workout/diet routine, i will lose that last 15 pounds. it is also very true that if you eat high amounts of fat, your body will reject it. Oddly enough, I've gotten used to this and have not experienced a lot of bloating, particularly after using it for 2 weeks. i also recommend drinking a decent amount of water throughout the day... hope this helps! |

I love Alli! |
|
|
I've been trying for years to lose the twenty pounds I gained during a period of high life stress, but nothing will budge. I'm sure it doesn't help that I hit my 40's but still; diet, exercise, nothing has made me lose more than a pound or two and then I end up gaining it back.
I started Alli two weeks ago and have already lost six pounds with no negative treatment effects whatsoever. Part of this is that, as one commenter said earlier, Alli is like Antabuse; I've adhered to a really low-fat diet because I'm terrified of what might happen if I don't. Writing down everything I eat in the daily journal that came with the Alli has really helped as well. I've gone back and looked up the fat content of the food I used to eat, and found that I was sometimes having 60-80 grams of fat in ONE MEAL! Now I have less than 25 grams the entire day most days.
Since I'm eating so low-fat, I can't say for sure whether the formula in the Alli is having any effect; the low-fat diet is most likely what's causing the weight loss. But I don't really care...I can't believe the weight is finally coming off! |
