Hi!
I've read that many take Benadryl (which is the sleep medicine in most OTC sleep aids) with no problem. I am taking 3 mg melatonin & 5-htp & I am sleeping MUCH better.
After your first week you should see your sleep improve.

Hi!
I just copied & pasted this from another thread. You can get it at a health food store or GNC. It comes in 50 mg & 100 mg. Most like to start with 50 mg & see how that works. I think you can take up to 300 mg at the most. They say to eat within 30 minutes of taking it so you won't get nauseous, but it doesn't bother me.
What many people have done that's worked for them is to take their Phen a little bit later in the day at different times of the day. Also, are you taking it on an empty stomach? I learned about 5-htp which is a natural supplement that helps to control appetite & it helps with your mood. On phenforum.com & phentermine.com many have had success adding it to their regimen. It can make the effects of the Phen last longer.

Polyh- I had a horrible time with the met and the bathroom which is why my doc put me on all four after supper. I do go straight to the bathroom but it seems to be helping it stays in your system and is released slowly throughout the day. In the morning I take the hen and at first I had problems sleeping but I will tell you it will regulate itself in a few weeks.

Each week I take a B-12/B-6/Lipotropic shot. The doctor says this is optional, but it supposedly helps you to burn fat faster.
Here is some info on it from another site.
What are Vitamin B12 with Lipotropics Weight Loss Shots?
Lipotropics is a fancy word for three amino acids that are essential for the health of your liver. Your liver is the organ responsible for removing fat and toxins from your body, so if it is healthier, it will work better for you. B12 gives you a huge energy boost, which helps you to burn calories.
The vitamin cocktail included in the B12 and Lipotropic shots are compounds that enhance liver function and increase the flow of fats and bile from the liver and gallbladder. By definition, a lipotropic substance decreases the deposit, or speeds up the removal of fat (lipo = fat, tropic = stimulate) within the liver. The key amino acids used to make these shots are: Vitamin B12, Choline, Methione, and Inositol.
Vitamin B12 is essential for helping to form new, healthy cells in the body. It also boosts energy, helping to increase activity levels.
Choline supports the health of the liver in its processing and excretion of chemical waste products within the body. Moreover, it is required for the transport and metabolism of fats and cholesterol within the body, which is important for the healthy support of the endocrine, cardiovascular and hepatic systems.
Methione is one of the sulfur-containing amino acids (cysteine & cystine are others) and is important for many bodily functions. It acts as a lipotropic agent to prevent excess fat buildup in the liver and the body, is helpful in relieving or preventing fatigue and may be useful in some cases of allergy because it reduces histamine release. Patients with a Sulfa allergy should not take this injection.
Inositol, a nutrient belonging to the B vitamin complex, is closely associated with choline. It aids in the metabolism of fats and helps reduce blood cholesterol. Inositol participates in action of serotonin, a neurotransmitter known to control mood and appetite.
Also, here is a thread on it that's 54 pages long LOL, but of course MANY of those people are trying to order them online (like this site).

So Esquire what do youthink of the shots, how much do they cost you? I had my galdbadder removed I wonder if you can still use them. In any case just wondering how you know the difference from weight lost with the phen and weight loss with the shots? That's why my doctor made sure I started the metphormin first for w few months and then added the Phen to it later.
Hi Macmom!
This is what I found here: mydietsolutions.com/faq.html
Can I be prescribed B12 with Lipotropics even though I don't have a gallbladder?
Yes, it is not a problem to take these injections without a gallbladder. The only contraindication to taking these injections is if you have a Sulfa allergy.
I pay $25 for my injections. I want to try to do them on my own because the place is kind of far & I can get them cheaper online & I can do them myself. There is a combo injection from My diet solutions that also contains Myoden & the results are even quicker.

Hey esquire do these injections work? How long have you been getting them. Has anyone else had sucess with these injections?
Hi Guest!
I just got my third injection on Saturday. I don't know how much of a difference they are making because I have also been working out & taking the Phen for 2 weeks. On other boards most say they noticed a big difference after their 3rd shot.
Many also get shots either every 48 hours or twice a week. Right now I only get them once a week.
If you click on some of the links I posted above it seems that the consensus is that they do help, especially the Lipotropic injection with Myoden.
HTH!
