Kate - I didn't really feel a difference the first couple of days either, FWIW. Then I weighed myself on day 4 and had lost several pounds. I don't have any explanation on why - but for me, it was at least day 4-5 before I really wasn't hungry. And now I can easily get by on 400 calories if I wanted to. So.... hopefully things will get better. Just wanted to share that!

I started Phentermine on 6-29 and within an hour noticed effects. I had more energy, I didn't want to eat a thing. I had a little trouble falling asleep that night, but that was it. I gained over 50 pounds when I got pregnant with my son and he is two now and I am still trying to lose weight. For the last six months I have been working out 6-7 hours a week and eating fruits, veggies, and protein. I have continued to fluctuate every week between 176-180, but never lower. I stepped on the scale this morning just to see if there was a difference and there was!!! I lost two pounds the first day! I have not weighed under 176 in two years! I'm so excited! I have so much energy too. I did a two hour workout this morning and felt awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else's progress.

I started on Phentermine today.

I felt jittery for most of the day, and very thirsty. I also had a lot of energy. I ate two reasonable meals and some fruit, and drank lots of water. I felt like a wanted to 'munch' all day, to get rid of the jittery feeling. I'm hoping the jittery feeling will be gone within a week.

I managed to lose 5 lbs without even trying prior to starting Phentermine, but I still have a very long way to go.

Hey there ncgal29. We have the same story just about. I just had a baby in Jan, but the lbs are stuck stuck stuck. Nursing did NOT help at all!! I'm about to take the chance of ordering with my fingers crossed. Where did you order from? I have a few that sound like reputable places that i've been trying to cross reference. Very Happy

My Gyn doc actually prescribed it b/c my BMI qualified me for it and I had been trying to get off the weight for so long. Plus I have polycystic ovarian syndrome which can cause weight gain. I think your BMI has to be over 30, not sure. But you should check with your doctor first. The prescription only cost me $48.99.

I got my meds today! Since they came in the afternoon, I only took half of a 37.5 mg tablet. Tomorrow I plan on taking 1/2 as soon as I get up and another half around 2. I'll keep posting and am also anxious to read the experiences of others here on the site.

Okay guys I started today & I could not wait!!!

I took it twice (half & half). I guess it's working because my mouth gets slightly dry & I fee quite ALERT.

I did my Slim in 6 DVD & my Elliptical for the 20-minute weight loss program. I am eating 6 times a day. I already drink an enormous amount of water as it is, so now I drink even more (as if that was possible). I just have dinner left & maybe a snack. I don't really have an appetite, but I feel like I am obsessing about food because I know I am I trying to get all these "meals" in.

How do you guys get around this? The last thing I want to do is obsess over food all day!

I have a very conservative family practice dr & i'm pretty sure they are gonna want me to be overweight for a good length of time. I can just hear them now "you just had a baby" I'm so done being like this. I plan on following slim 4 life diet plan with the assistance of phen.
