i bought it, and wont even consider doing it.

i wont divulge the info on the actual diet, but i will say that it is dangerous.

the creator, jim zeta, encourages you to drink all the coffee you'd like. why?

1- coffee is a diuretic, and will cause water loss/dehydration

and 2- since you are robbing your body of needed fuel, he wants you to dangerously fuel yourself with cafiene.

avoid this diet. seriously. you'll acheive nothing but water-loss and physical damage.

I bought the diet and did it this week. On morning 4 I was down 13 lbs and I never got the loosies (if ya know what I mean). I found there to be plenty of food for a days eating. The hardest part is no salt. I have lost 80 lbs at this point so my diet needed a lil jump start.

I would suggest that James Zeta is charging a bit much for this plan but it isn't a scam. It really does work. I would buy it cheaper on ebay if I had known about it.

BUT 13 POUNDS IS AWESOME!!!!! Laughing

Congratulations Nessy.

I had lost 8.5 pounds. But it was good as it 's not easy to loose that much within four days - well, at least for me !!

You're right about the diet plan and food. I did not have any hunger pangs and there were enough to eat daily.

An insight for those who are going to try the plan: please make sure you spread your three meals out properly and do sleep early. Or else, you will end up being tempted to eat out of the plan.

Hello, I am wondering if there are others out there that have done the diet w/ the allowed substitutions?
I lost only 8 lbs. BUT had absolutely no cravings. For me, as a nightime sneak-eater, Embarassed that was great! Plus I lost about an inch in my waist,.5 in each leg, 1 inch in my hips, so who can be upset about that??
Don't anyone ask me what foods are on the diet as that is getting to be a pain and redundant, -you know we can't say. Exclamation
Am just wondering if anyone can answer my question please that has done the diet once or twice. I plan to go on it again, beginning tomorrow.

There are loads ofdoubts on the following:

1) not enough calorie intake daily - but we are told prior to puchasing that it was a crash diet that put us on a jump start mode.

2) coffee - that I did not understand why it's on the diet menu as caffeine stunts our metabolic level until I read GUESS-JARED's post (please check out P21-23 of this forum.

Oh well .... it's up to each individual whether the are determine to loose the weight or not. Any diet plan would work if determination is included.

I had completed my first 18-4, almost two weeks ago. As I was a tad naughty and only stuck with it for three days, I had lost only 5.5 pounds Embarassed

I am not sure if the pounds I have lost were merely water as proclaimed by many. But what I do know is - I have not gained the weight back. Razz

I am starting the 18-4 again and this time I will complete the four days and will see how much I will loose.

Some interesting facts from my recent findings, as I was curious about some of the food on the 18-4:

Caffeine, substance present in coffee helps in minimizing one's appetite. So drinking coffee in moderation can help you eat less. It also is a factor in thermogenesis, a process where the body generates heat or energy by increasing its metabolism rate which results to the burning of fat.

Green tea, and other forms of tea has been making waves to most people. More are getting into the tea-drinking habit which is said to aid better digestion, relieve stress and help the body get antioxidants. Green tea's antioxidant content is helpful to the body and it has been found in certain studies that consuming a cup of tea each day for a year can bring about a loss of five pounds.

Grapefruit is high in Vitamin C is also rich in fiber. Grapefruit, a native of Jamaica, helps in increasing liver enzymes, which in turn aids in the liver's function of getting rid of body toxins like fat effectively. This is also believed to contain fat-burning properties like that of green tea and that is why the “Grapefruit Diet” was recommended to people who are into weight-loss.

hi all i brought the diet a week ago and i am going to start it tomorrow tuesday the 24th june.Last september i had lost 4 and a half stone after doing 13 weeks on a diet called lighterlife simlar diet cambridge ! both i would highly recommend check there web sites out! since completing the diet ive been stupid enough to put a stone back on Sad <thats why im going to do this diet as a kick start will let you all kno on my progress regards tracy

I just bought this plan after thinking about it for a week. I am 172lb before starting it, let's how much I'd lose in this four days. I'm so going to smack that James Zeta if I didn't lose as least 5 pounds.

that package is so full of BS. That dude is just so full of himself, and re-state all those common knowledge like he's the one who discover them. Not to mention his website is pretty crappy--It DOESNT even have before and after picture. I highly doubt if the guy in that picture is James Zeta!

Anyway after looking at the recipe, basically each meal is made up of small portion of sugar-packed vegetables/legume and a small portion of lean protein. I LOVE most of the food of the meal plan, the only food I hate is the raw tomato/tomato juice and black coffee. But for the sake of weight loss I'd drink it anyway. Hopefully i'd be able to stick with the plan. Smile

Just finished first 4 days. Lost 10 pounds! Food is ok and I could probably only stick with it for 4 days at a time but can't fault the results.

i have just purchased the 18in4 today i will start this programme on monday and i have to loose 15kilos, whether this is going to work or not i will keep you inform.
