Reductil Tablets

im taking 15mg so obviously im on a strong dose. This could be down to why i stopped feeling hungry eventually but I must admit the 1st day I wasnt hungry - im guessing this was psychological - but the next few days I felt hungry and thought it wasnt working. I'd say from day 3-4 it started to work properly. I have been on it for 2 weeks now and lost 10lbs. I basically put myself on a diet as well as soon as I took the 1st tablet so the knowledge I was on a diet also divert my hunger pains elsewhere! The first week I experienced a few restless nights and a couple of light headaches. But nothing out of the norm for me. Dry mouth is still a slight side effect but makes me drink more water which in turn fills me up so can't be bad!
I think if you bear with the tablets you will start to see the results. I only noticed my weight had dropped off in my 2nd week of taking the tablets, now its like I am on a dream diet where I have to schedule mealtimes as im never hungry!

Hi
I have been taking Reductil 15mg for almost 2 months. I have an Ultra slim diet meal replacement for breakfast and Lunch and a childs serve of Stir fry every second night. I drink at least 3 litres (actually alot more most days) of water a day and eat fruit for morning and afternoon tea even if I'm not hungry. The other nights I have a lite n easy meal. I do a total of 1 hour a day on the treadmill and 30 mins a day on the cross trainer.
I have not lost ANY weight at all. I am so disheartened. Spoke to the Pharmacist today and was told that it is more than likely a hormonal reason ( I am 45yrs old).
I am almost ready to give up. I'm doing everything right and not benefiting from it. Does any one have any ideas please?

hi i,ve just had my 3rd baby by c section . how soon can i start talk in reductil tables
hi lynnie101, after reading your comment i really felt for you! i think your problem is you are not eating enough!
you are doing lots of excercize per day, but i dont think you are eating enough in order for you to burn off the calories with the exersize. you just need to stick to 3 good healthy meals per day.
breakfast-cereal, lunch-jacket potatoe/tuna, dinner fish with salad or chicken etc.
try to have your carbs at lunchtime, so as you have the rest of the day to burn them off, save the fresh salad for the evening, or even a really nice heathy stir fry
i have been taking 10mg reductil for 10 days now and have lost approx 9lbs,i walk every other day about 3 miles in my mbt trainers which i would suggest any dieter to invest in as they are brilliant.
dont get me wrong, i have had a few moments where i have found it really hard on the diet but i just know my health would benefit hugley and so would my self esteem!! keep going!!
hi, im just coming to the end of week one. I havent had any weight loss as yet and was just wondering how long these things took before there was any sort of result.
i know its early days yet but you know what its like, a little sort of result would be good to be going on with.
my apetite doesnt seem to have diminished in any way, in fact im still craving my sweets!!

Hey I am on this forum from almost about 2 months. I started using meridia/redutil and I got good results. I think we all have to wait for some more time to have better results from this medication.
best luck to all. also happy new year.
My new year resolution : to reach my destination to lose and maintain 45 kg.

Hello everyone! I am finding reductil a godsend, I have been on it 2 weeks and have seen a differance in my clothing... I am moving house at the moment and the scales are packed away!!! Maybe thats a good thing as I tend to get a little bit obsessed with the old scales lol. Make a deal with myself that I will go to the Drs to get weighed.. a lovely surprise!!! I am hoping to lose 47kgs this year... not hoping I will!!! Lets just do it!!!!
hey there ive been on reductil for 4 days and ive have 2 nights where i couldnt sleep but the first day i was so energized i cleaned the whole kitchen and i still had to work that afternoon. im finding im drinking up to 3 litres of water a day and not hungry at all its weird but i have all this energy is this normal? I havent noticed any weight loss as yet but we will see
I have only been on reductil for almost a week. I have not noticed any changes. The first day I found my appetite had decreased, however now I do not feel like it is supressing my appetite and I still eat what I usually eat. I do not exercise alot. I walk a bit for my job, so its not like I am not doing anything but sitting.
My other concern is my dry mouth and constant thirst. Any suggestions on how to control this as it is stressing me out!!
Does anyone here live in the UK? If so, where are you ordering your reductil from?
Thanks.
Thanks.
I see the difference after only 2 days... I always lost weight with reductil ( or its generic) without working out or a balanced diet.... I mean, I don't feel hungry at all, so I eat less, but no special diet or attention... that's why I like it..
Are you taking other meds? did you buy it from a reliable source? Have you taken it before?
I read somewhere that if you don't see results after a month, then it means it won't work for you as pills never work the same for everyone.
I'd try for at least a month.... and I'd try to see as someone else suggested if you're not eating out of habit...
Good luck,
Zoe
