Turbo Jam vs. Slim in 6 |
|
|
Brand spankin' new to this forum and just had a few questions to through out to everyone.
Anyone else doing either Turbo Jam or Slim in 6?
I'm currently doing both back and forth and am feeling pretty good about it. Though, to be honest I love Turbo Jam waaaay more than Slim in 6. (Chalene ((TJ)) is a heck of a lot more motivating than Debbie ((SI6)) in my opinion.)
If you have been doing either of these how are your results? I've only been at it for less than a week with nearly two workouts a day and still haven't seen anything, though I feel sore but perky.
I signed a contract with my boyfriend to do this with me and I think he's staying on track. I just need to hear real results from real people, though I have a feeling I should be seeing something soon. *fingers crossed*
Any other people out there need a partner in this journey please feel free to get ahold of me, i'll work on before pics soon. |

Hey Closetokarma,
How are you doing? Welcome to the forums, it's truly a great place. I haven't gotten the TJ even though I've wanted to since the first infomercial I saw a long time ago. I also wanted the SI6 and well I got lucky one day and saw it at a yardsale for 5$, ofcourse I bought it! But... I've had a hard time motivating myself to it. I do the Billy Blanks Advance 8 Minute work out continuosly 4 times. This way I do 32 minutes, and by the time the 4th ones on, I feel like I'm going to die, but after I'm done, I'm happy and very motivated, besides sore.
How is TJ? Is it as fun as it looks on tv, or am I thinking YB (Yoga Booty)? I'm so confused, unfortunately everything I see to lose weight I want.
Good luck on your weight loss journey, and please let me know how its working out. Take care and remember YOU CAN DO IT!
Wendy

I'm absolutely in love with Turbo Jam, it's intimidating at first, but every time you workout your noticeably stronger in completing every rep. The music is wonderful and it's just an all out fun workout. (i could be on the informercial, haha) Plus, Chalene is absolutely adorable and so fun to watch. That's my problem with Slim in 6. It's a good workout, but Debbie is quite boring and awfully weird. She says "You're gonna hate me, but you have to do it" over and over and over in my Express tapes, and finally I got tired of hearing it. ha. And, after doing Turbo punches for so long, the girls on Slim in 6 look like wimps.
Thank you in your wishes, and I'm hoping the results start coming soon! keep in touch! |
