This is my first post. I'm 30 years old. My highest all-time weight, about 2 weeks ago, was 261.6 lbs. I gained 85+ lbs over the past 4 years and it's time I got rid of this weight.

For the past few weeks, I've been exercising for at least an hour 6 days a week, cutting down on sweets, and not eating after 8pm most nights. My weight fluctuates between a loss of 2lbs and 4lbs... Before that, I was exercising 3 times a week with no results... I've been exercising regularly (at least 3 times per week) for the past 2 months, and nothing!

I really hate to resort to diet pills but today I started using MiracleBurn. Not that I could tell if it really worked today or not... but it's worth a shot and I hope they help me.

ANYWAY. I'm going to try to do this journal, I'm also using joesgoals.com -- it's been great for helping me meet my daily goals and track my exercise and maybe this will help me stick with it, too!

I'm getting in shape for the regular reasons: improve my health, lower my cholesterol, feel better etc. But also because I am currently living far away from my friends and family -- and I will be visiting them in late November/early December, for the first time in a year!

So, before Thanksgiving, I want to weigh 200 lbs. It's less than 4 months away... so I have to stay motivated and work out HARD. And maybe I'm being unrealistic, but if I shoot for 200 lbs, then maybe I'll get closer to that goal than if I was shooting for 225 lbs.

so that's it... i guess i wrote too much. but if i'm typing up a journal, then my hands are busy and i'm not eating, right?

so it does seem to suppress my appetite a bit. maybe it actually does work! i took it about an hour before eating breakfast. then again at 2:30 p.m.

It's 5:30 p.m. and I'm not quite hungry yet. Just the faint beginnings of hunger. Which is a nice change.

I am going to go exercise then come back and have dinner then go see a movie.

Oh and I weighed today (I'm being really neurotic about weighing too much) and I weigh 255.6 lbs! OF COURSE that will probably fluctuate again by tonight, but it's encouraging to see the scale go down a little.

I went to TickerFactory.com and posted the bb code for it in my signature and set my signature to display all the time, and made sure bb code is on, and made sure i had attach signature checked before posting, but it still won't show up. If anyone is reading this can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

ok so i read where someone else asked about this and apparently i just need to put the img tags and not have it in my signature but in my post b/c signatures are disabled on this site for all.

so here's my test.



this weekend i haven't done so well... eating has been ok but no exercise. today i will exercise though. soccer practice tonight.
