calorie intake
I've been on a 1200 calorie low fat diet for 13 weeks and going to start taking Alli today to maybe speed things up a bit. Have alot of weight to lose. In my 13 weeks I have lost 22 pounds. I'm unable to exercise due to feet problems--do swim when I can but relatively speaking not much exercise beyond the normal. Anyways, registering here it told me to eat 1800 calories and like I said I've been on 1200 and low fat. Have always journaled my calories but never journaled fat intake but did yesterday just out of curiosity and came up with 21 grams of fat yesterday for the whole day. I usually eat 2 meals with a couple snacks.
My question what do I do about the calories? I have found at my age 55 that I just don't lose on 1800.
Feedback please.

what I do...
Hi,
I don't really see the issue with a specific calorie intake the way alli works. The other thing is that for each individual their body metabolism etc also kicks in. At your age it may be a good idea to stay with your low calorie diet and take alli. I have found that alli works even with the less than 15 grams fat except that it is not so obviously eliminated:)
I do not each huge quantities but I like enjoying what I eat and often what I enjoy has fat so alli has become a savior...I have also tried to limit my carb. intake being influenced by what I learned with the Atkins diet. So my diet is mainly protein, fruits and veggies. (Atkin pointed out that the extra carbs become fat so I believe I am helping alli by not heaping up on the carbs). I have noticed after about 3 weeks a big difference in the way my clothes fit and I am thrilled...
