I currently weigh XXX and i want to lose 1st 5lbs, until recently i used to be disciplined and be able to maintain a healthy diet, however at the moment i just cannot seem to stop eating, i'm constantly snacking and pigging out i just can't seem to stop, whats more i hate my self for moaning like this its only food not heroin after all. i just don't know what has changed.
So its a friday morning today at 5:00 am and i am determined to have lost 4lbs by monday. thats the first goal, one step at a time hey. i don't want judging or that 'oh but you look fine' rubbish i just want a place where i can gain support and encouragement if i find it hard.
i hope you guys can provide it |

| Hi Tom! Welcome! You have found a good place to come and rant and rave about the weight loss journey where we will not judge you. If there are people who do, they should be kicked off! We all struggle with the weight thing, or else we would not be here. I hope you are successful with your weight loss. Just make sure you are realistic with your goals. WHile wanting to lose 4 lbs by Monday may be possible for you, I don't know, you will not be able to keep up that pace for long. The body only loses so much, and it takes burning 3500 calories to equal 1 lb. That means to lose 4 lbs by Monday you would have to burn almost 7000 calories more than you take in each day. Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint, and the longer it may take, the better habits you are forming to keep the weight off in the long run. However, good luck, and keep us posted on your progress! |

HELLO THERE web people, there was a problem with getting in to this forum for about a week , so i do apologize for not writing, i have been taking a break, for a while, a few things in my life have changed, not for the best, my niece is going through some really confusing adjustments before the school year starts. She lost the best ever step mother and in the process a lot of things were lost too, ( no to death) i have been caring for her for about 3 weeks and i am so sad for her, a girl with such a beutiful soul does not have to go through this complicating time. I have lost 1 pound i wish more but really busy just to take care of myself but hey i am here right.
