| Hey, I know the feeling! It actually felt good when I hit the "overweight" category, since it meant I was no longer "obese"! I know you can do it! And if I hit my goal, I will actually be out of the "overweight" category myself! It's been a long road, but I can do it, and you will too! |

ok I'm in!
I will be 5 pounds off my goal weight if I lose 10 pound!
So far my weight loss has been going VERY well, 2lbs a week up until this past fortnight. I've been too stressed so I've been eating badly but I'm sure I'll start losing again after exams!
I exercise everyday, usually a DVD at home because I can't get out to the gym.
I plan a fortnight's meals and buy ALL the stuff so I don't have any excuses.
Good luck everyone!!! |

Holey Moley! What a morning! Well, I am happy and very surprised! Yesterday I weighed in at 170.2, and by the way am very happy about that since it is 10 lbs lighter than I was when I got married. But I had ran out of Cylaris, which I was on for a little while. I decided to try something new, since I think my body did get used to it, and was not reacting much anymore. So I picked up Xenadrine, which was cheaper (yeah) and I figure in a few more lbs I will go off any kind of supplement in order to do the last few myself and stabilize what my body needs in terms of food intake and excersise. Well, much to my surprise this morning, the scale read 168.4! 2 lbs! How did that happen? I did walk a little in the morning, and then for about an hour walking in place while my kiddos napped, but still! I don't care how it went, I am happy that it did! It may have even been some water weight since I was eating chicken soup which was very salty while I was sick. Anyway, Whoo hoo! I just love to see that smaller number! And that means I am only 4 lbs away from getting out of the "overweight" category! "Sniff" I am so happy I could cry. I have had this weight on me for over 13 years. What a great feeling. I wish everyone here the same success!

I'm in Galway.
I'm not sure why I weigh myself on those dates. Sometimes I don't weigh myself for a week and sometimes a few days in a row. Makes no sense!
I'm on Reductil 10mg and I'm not eating bread, pasta, potatoes and other starchy things. I'm eating loads of veg, fruit (both dried and fresh), seeds and nuts, lean proteins, pulses and a lot of water.
I've been walking but now I'm going to join a gym and try to go 3x a week.
How about you? |

Well I only started on Reductil yesterday.....but had a bit of a bad night....kids wanted pizza so i said ok then hubby came home and I had a couple of bottles of beer....but I have my vegatable soup on for today it will last me till wednesday....its great for filling you up
I just sent him to get me lots of fresh fruit so that will help me too while in work during the week....nothing but bacon and saussage and pudding in my job for 10am break.!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for exercise.....i bought a threadmill about 4 months ago and was on a very strict diet of the soup, vegs, and fruit for a week (no beer, no takeaways and no potatoes) and I lost an amazing 10lbs....that was with doing half hour on threadmill twice a day....then just doing up to an hour once a day.....so I hope to stick to this again from tomorrow and will let you know
There is also a herbal tea that you can get from the chinese emporium in dublin that I was on as well......its called OOLONG...(sometimes called wu-long).....its a great duiretic....tried the puerrh(spelling) tea but didnt like it and found this one in there as the china man recommended it to me......see if you can get your hands on it if not i can mail you a couple of sachets for you to try. (I PROMISE I NOT GOING TO STALK YOU.!!!! )..not sure if the shop do mail order....I can check it out for you and let you know as I have to get some more this week...
sorry just to also add that for evening dinner I would have some fish and veg or some chicken and veg....... |

| Welcome Irish Lassie! It's so nice to see new people here. I was just on vacation to my dad's house, and we ate way too much! But oh well. I am going at it again today. Try not to get too down on yourself. You sre doing well. I know I need to sometimes not feel like the whole day is lost when I mess up on eating, and then eat terrible the rest of the day. If you eat something you shouldn't, oh well, just watch the rest of the day. If we deprive ourselves too much, and never eat things we like, we will never stay on the new lifestyle. I ate too much fatty things at my dad's, who cares? Now I work at it again, but I had fun. YOu just can't say who cares every day. Anyway, will check in again tomorrow. For now I need to go walk in place for an hour. |

| Yup. Basically, any movement will burn calories. While my kids sleep, I choose to watch some t.v. while walking in place, wiggling, swinging my arms, whatever. It really helps, especially now since it has been very hot and humid here, too much so to go walking outside. |
