Hello, I started using the Alli pill on Monday and today I started to get bad gas and it lasted through out the day. It is some what uncontrollable. Did this happen to anyone else? I have went to the bathroom 3 times today. normal stooles, but I have never went more the once a day, especially since I am eating soooo much less since Monday morning. Please let me know if anyone out there is getting gas like this.. thanks [/u][/b]

I am more burpy than pooty. And it's not too bad at all for me.

Hi Stephie...Yes, I get gas too....pretty heavy gas, however, no problems with leakage or uncontrolable BM. I've had more BM's an also noticed they're oily, which is fine...shows the meds are working. I've been on them almost two weeks.

I must say, I took the alli pills for over a month, and had the worst gas I have ever had in my life, it was so painful I honestly thought I was having a gallbladder attack. I am a nurse, and after having this in addition to the on going trips to the bathroom numbering 4+ times per day, and only losing 6lbs in over five weeks, I determined that these pills are not different then the rest out there and may have some dangerous side effects we do not know about yet.
