Let me tell the world! I KNOW the secret!

Here is how to loose it all!

DIET AND EXERCISE!

Here is how I went from 330 lbs to 225 in the past year and a half or so..

Well first of all, I knew I was going to die if I didn't get myself in gear! I went to the hospital for having blood pressure of around 190/130 and a steady heart rate of 130! Why? I was out of shape and my mother had just passed on! I was in serious trouble! F

When I went to the Doc for Blood pressure meds, he said "Go work out 45 minutes a day minimum" and I thought.. yeah I had better or I will die! I was pretty scared to exert myself with high BP like that though! I did though.. even though it was scary...

First my heart rate became normal, then it took about a 6 month period EVEN WITH MEDS to get my blood pressure normal!

The good news was, I had decided that from the day I went to the hospital, I would change my life by changing my diet as well..

So I cut off Salt, I never ADD to my already salted foods! I eat around 2000 mg a day max! I do this because sodium causes water retention and is terrible on the heart!

After that I went ahead and cut out Caffeine.. well strangely enough my weight has been going down just since I quite the Caffeine.. could it be possible that Caffeine causes weight gain? Well studies do show that Caffeine stimulates Appetite and is a Diuretic which causes the release of electrolytes that are needed for the metabolic process.

I went a step further and followed the Atkins ideal of removing simple carbs from my diet at least somewhat.. and I rarely eat sugar because I am not a sweets person. My big weaknesses are potatoes! I still eat them almost EVERY day!

So... now I eat whole grain breads, low sodium, low glycemic and caffeine free!

Now to watch FAT intake! We don't want tons of saturated fats! Whats more important though? Trans Fats!! However monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats have been known to cancel out the ill effects of saturated fats! So it is good to have those in your diet!

So now we are to whole grains (high fiber), Low Sodium, Low Glycemic and No Caffeine! Now what?

Well my new goal is to watch cholesterol! However I found that I am good about this!

What do I do about exercise? I work out 3 hours a day if I can! Walk around the nearby mall over and over, even WALMART sometimes! Do pushups and crunches! Jog! , heck I want to get a bike to ride around with! That would be a great way to help things!


So some of you are not in the best health and wonder how you could manage a diet/exercise routine like this! Well I just so happen to have spent 14 years of my life taking care of a terminally ill person.. my mother,... I can tell you the secret!

First of all! When you eat, push a tiny bit of your food away that is on your plate! As tempting as that last morsel is! You will survive without it!

As time goes on, if you just loose a tiny bit at a time from your meals! You will loose that weight! Your appetite will go down! Without an appetite stimulant like caffeine this can be VERY successful!

Get some dumbells and work with them! Do anything you can to exercise! Even if you are bed ridden you can do this! Remember the stronger you get the closer you might be to recovery!

Also the more you move around, the more you reduce the risk of problems like Deep Vein Thrombosis which is a blood clot in the leg that can be fatal!

Just remember that muscles in the body will burn the calories to keep them up! The more muscle you have, the less fat will be stored up from excessive calories! Also when you work out your muscles it stimulates heat which could theoretically help burn calories! I have heard that spicy foods can do this as well!

Keep in mind that a "Calorie" is a measurement of heat to determine how much it heat it takes to raise a gram of water 1ºC.

Just remember that you CAN do this! This plan will never cause you to regain the fat quickly if you fall off of the path! Why? Because when you starve yourself in most diets, you eat away at muscle tissue! When you do that then the body stores the fats instead of burning them for muscle upkeep. If you have no muscle then you have no where else to put it, unless you use pills to have the fats passed through the intestines via stools.

So in the end.. this is the TRUE Way to loose weight!

(considering you have no issues with your thyroid gland or other physical disabillities that would make it otherwise impossible to loose without medication.. in which case seek a doctor for further advice to work in conjunction with this mean)

* Slow down on Caffeine (some of you have to have it! I respect that!)
* Lower Sodium intake <2500mg per day
* Lower Sugar/Simple Carb intake
* Eat Complex Carbs/plenty of fiber (whole grains)
* Stay away from trans fats and saturated fat
* Eat foods with protein (for muscle growth), good low fat protein sources are soy, nuts, beans.

And Exercise like this:

* Build lean muscle by working out a muscle group of your choice
* Do a cardiovascular activity if possible, (walking, running, biking, stairs)
* Do this 3 hours a day if you can, minimum of 45 mins a day!

Expect 2-3 lbs a week! This is normal! It will fluctuate quite a bit at times and there will be a plateu from time to time!

SO TELL ME WHERE DID YOU GET THE ADIPEX FROM/DO YOU NEED A PRESCRIPTION FOR IT? YOU HAVE LOST A LOT OF WEIGHT IN A YEAR...CONGRADS! Very Happy PLEASE IF YOU WOULD TELL ME WERE OR HOW TO GET IT?
