For those of you taking phen-pro...can you provide feedback?

"Meridian 2" or "meridian 3" etc, is HIS own lingo. it's NOT the drug meridia. it's a combo of phen-pro and the number at the end indicates the strength of the mg's of the phen. for example....meridian 2 is a combo of 37.5 mgs of phen & 10 mgs of prozac. meridian 3 is an increased mg dosage of phen (i don't know the exact miligrams...but it's higher than the 37.5.)
the differences you're hearing ppl talking about has nothing to do with differing prescriptions. dr. b gives the same prescription to everyone to start. the differences are because of where ppl fill their scripts. each pharmacy chain uses a different manufacturer. the one that manufactures the phen that CVS stocks is marked with a "V" and a "50/30." walgreens i beleive gets theirs from a different manufacturer and thus the pills have different markings....maybe the A159 markings?
they are ALL phentermine 37.5 mgs. but there is some speculation (based on ppl's experience) that certain maunfacurers put out a better product than others.

Well, I didn't have a man before, because I felt so disgusted by my own body... so I don't have a good frame of reference to compare my sex drive before phen/pro, but I can say that because I feel better about myself and i actually do look better that I finally got the man I've had a crush on for like 2 years now. So, about the "sex drive" I don't know so much different, but the "sex appeal" has gone WAY up!!! And let me just say "YAY!!!!!!!!"

Well, Dr. B prescribed the Meridian Plus 3 for me and it's actually one pill for the morning, then a second dose of 15mg for afternoons. I'm not sure what dosage he would prescribe for those out of the state of Texas. He might just give extra 37.5's and tell you to break them in half. Or, phen does come in a dosage as low as 15mg. So he might prescribe the full strength for day and the low dosasge for afternoon. I don't think he would tell anyone to take something like 55mg of phen at the same time, but I guess you never know.

Well that's nice to hear, cuz phen or any type of amphentamine always had the opposite effect on me. Unfortunately for my hubby, it completely takes away "the mood". I guess it goes hand & hand w/not be relaxed enough to even sleep.

i don't know about the sex drive thing yet. i'll have to update that after a bit. i'm actually a little worried about that cuz i've always heard prozac can impair sex drive. i really hope not cuz my husband will be very unhappy if that's the case.
