Phentermine HCL

Help!!!!, I feel soooooooo weird! I've been on Phentermine since10/13/07 Dr. prescibed. The disage is 37.5 twice a day once before lunch, the other before dinner. So far I feel terrible,. My symptoms include, dry mouth, excessive thirst, excessive, urination, nausea,sweating, insomnia, hyper to the point I think of manic.( I cleaned my house for 8hrs straight!! ). My heart feels, like its palpating really fast as is my breathing. It also makes me feel sort of introverted and less social. I stopped taking it today I can't take it if these are the regular side effects and the left side of my back hurts as if there is air in my lung or something. I'm scared and can't reach the doctor. Anybody , somebody please give me clue!!!!! Thanks in advance.

That sounds horrible! You should be fine if you stop taking it - the side effects will go away within 24 hrs probably. Phentermine is basically speed, so you are having classic speed symptoms. I don't know who your doctor is, but I've never heard of taking two pills a day. I can't believe your doc didn't at least start you on a lower dosage until you get used to it. Good luck.

can i have your script...LOL, just kidding. I would try taking one or even cut in half. Some people can't handle the side effects of them.

Thats a double dose to start with. I would be off the walls with that much in me. You do build a tolerance but thats a high dosage for starters. Get off it if its causing problems. Maybe the dr. can adjust your dosage.

I've been on phen for years & would not think of taking 2 pills of that dosage per day, unless I did not want to sleep. I don't understand a dr prescribing that much to a new patient. Even the phen web site says that you should only take 1 per day. In your case, I would split them, and work up to the higher dosage. And if start having any problems with breathing, you should seek medical help immediately.

No matter what your doc says, do not take more than one pill per day!
