Oh my gosh Rather Be........... I did try on my bathing suits. Oh my gosh. Sob. That's all I can say. My boobs are bursting out of the tops, my belly over the bottoms. I hung 2 bikinis on the back if the bathroom door that I get ready in every morning to remind me to stay on track.
Loreelin, slow and steady weight loss is good for a lot of reasons, one big one (and this is a bit gross) is loose skin. If you lose weight more slowly, your skin can keep up a little better. I was reading the other day that the longer you keep the fat on, the more loose skin (esp. belly) you will have. More reason to lose this weight now! |

Way to go Pao!
I weighed in this morning at 187 again. I'm not too upset about it. I have been doing great and I am feeling really bloated--but I know I slipped up this wkkd--I baked cookies for the boys and ate my share --but they are gone and I am back on track--i will not throw away my hard work again for an oatmeal choc chip cookie! |

| I'm with you all, especially after a week fasting with water, fruit, veggies and nuts, then a splurge of everything when the week was over. |

I'm here, and back up to 188. I was home sooooooo sick with I guess the flu for 2 days....... how the heck did I go up 2 pounds????/ I didn't eat much........ but have had no energy for 5 days, so maybe it's the lack of exercise and even regular activity.
I'm back on track gals........ oh my gosh..... look at the calendar! We need to work hard on this!
Welcome pao and Needweightoff. We HAVE to make this work! |

Sorry about the weight gain GA--i hate it when you've been sick and gain weight! Ive been really good and I am barely losing, but i'm not giving up.
i feel thinner and i think i look thinner (hubby says so) and that counts for something right? even if the scale tinkers at the same spot week after week--okay well it's only the 26th--but still |

I'm ready to put my "game face" back on and deal with my weight. I'd love to hear from anyone who has a second to correspond. It seems to help a lot knowing we're all in the same boat.
Please share when you can.....I'll do the same.
We can DO this! |

sorry i been absent--we are in the house shopping/buying process and all my free time is spent looking at houses. i'm a little stressed. --however, i haven't overeaten! so i weighed in at 184 on monday--yea, it's thursday and i'm finally checking in!!
looks like we have some newbies! Welcome! we are having a get together sunday but i plan on veggies and wings--skinless for me.
Ga--i am sorry you are having trouble. i know my calorie counting, though slow--is something that has really helped me--i just keep a sheet on the fridge and write down my calories all day long--i have a running total so to speak and that way i know what i can eat for dinner. somedays i eat a bigger lunch at work and have to skip out on the after dinner treats--or salad up
WE CAN DO THIS EVERYONE!! |

I've been absent too loreelin......... monday night was our International Night at school and I am the coordinator. We have about 900 people attend. It is all consuming for about 2 weeks, but sooooo touching to see so many people celebrating their heritage! At least I was able to hide my fat under my Statue of Liberty costume
I'm totally back on track, and should see pounds come off by Monday! Of course, this weekend is my son's b'day party....... when does life slow down???? Oh well, it is all good things. Happy house hunting! How exciting!
Keep your eyes on the prize this weekend girls (and our token guy!). Let's get skinny! |
