I applied today to be a part of a study of a nasal spray for weight loss. The company testing the product is called Nastech and the spray is administered three times a day. The study tests three levels of the spray, a placebo spray, the drug Meridia taken by capsule and a placebo capsule. In other words, test subjects will be randomly assigned to one of six groups. I won't find out until next week if I get a nasal spray or a pill and I won't know for six months if I got a weight loss drug or a placebo.

I would be interested in chatting with anyone familiar with this new nasal spray under investigation.
