I realised I didn't go into detail what I do eat. I usually eat fast food for lunch, but hardly ever finnish the meal. For example, if I got a hamburger and fries, I MIGHT eat 3/4 of the burger and half the fries of the standard size meals most fast food restaurants serve. At night I usually cook a meal. An example of one I had 2 nights ago was pork steak and some seasoned vegetables. I do eat a lot of pasta. I love pasta. I hear pasta is bad but it's one of those things I don't want to believe if you know what I mean. :)

My meals aren't very large at all. What I actually eat from the meal is even smaller most of the time. I'm a smoker too. Does this affect my metabolism? I've been tossing around the idea of quitting for some time anyway so if this is one of the reason's I just don't lose weight then that is a good thing. One more reason to put them down all together.

I know this forum is mostly about weight loss pills. I'm not big into taking stuff like that but I've been thinking about trying it. I'm just scared what I pick is gonna turn out to have serious undiscovered side affects and I'll die by the time I hit 30.

Guest- I know this is going to sound odd, but you need to eat MORE to lose weight. Not at each sitting, but pread through the day. What happens is your body shuts down at night while you sleep and your metabolism drops, as well as your insulin production. When you wake up, your body is still in this "sleep" phase and does not start again until you give it some food. This will wake up your metabolism, and start production of insulin, which zaps the sugar in the blood. If you overload your system with just one meal a day, your bodyy gets overwhelmed, and can't burn off all you eat, even though it may not be a huge meal. Then if you go to bed, your body shuts down again and stores everything. When you don't eat much, your body adapts and goes into fasting mode and stores everything directly into fat, so you don't starve when you have nothing to eat again.
The best thing to do is snack, on healthy thing through the day. Definitly eat breakfast! The gets your metabolism woke up in the morning and then you will be good all day. Try to have a couple snacks throughout the day, like cheese, a quesadilla, crackers, some carbs. That keeps your body in burn mode. Also, eat pasta. It's okay. Just try to eat it for lunch and then stick to higher protein and vegies for dinner, fewer carbs. You don't have much time at then end of the day for your body to burn carbs off.
And you don't have to become a huge gym rat. Just move more. Especially after meals. Even if you just walk in place for a half and hour as you watch t.v., you will lower your blood sugar and get your metabolism going.
Good luck. Remember, losing weight isn't about being thinner, but healthier! :D

Thanks for the info. I suppose I'll spend the extra time in the morning cooking some eggs or something. Try to get 3 meals in and start eating snacks on my breaks at work. I usually don't have much of an appetite in the morning, maybe it's just because I never eat in the morning on most occasions.

Anyway, thanks again!

If you are a member of Costco (or know someone who is), they currently have a 30-day supply of Lipovarin for 49.99.

Just thought I'd pass it along....

I started Lipovarin in September and it immediately cut my cravings. With this problem out of the way I was able to be more selective in what I ate and totally cut out the junk food. I eat two to three times a day, think about what I am eating so I make conscious decisions and still have a beer everyday. The results have been a painless 15 pounds in September, another 15 in October and another 15 in November. I have lost 10 more lbs in December. My goal is 205. I don't see a problem. What does concern me is what happens when I hit my goal and stop taking this stuff. I will work with it for a couple months weighing myself everyday. If I gain more than 5 lbs back I will return to the Lipovarin. I guess if I can't keep the weight off without continuing Lipovarin, then I will just keep taking it since it has no side-effects for me. I have tried so many diets and this is just sooo easy and painless. I'm willing to pay the price to keep the lbs off, I guess.

There seems to be plenty of confusion about the product Liporexin. Many folks here seem to think that it is Lipovarin or Lipovectin. It is not. Liporexin is sold only on eBay through 4 different stores that I believe represent a single company.

A detailed search on eBay yields the following:

Store, User, Contact , Established
We Love Meg Whitman, Fibersyn, Garrett DeVore, 7-21-2000
Thank You Ashley, ShaneRichins1031, Shane Richins, 8-16-2002
Thank You Sarah, Sarmury, Sarah Campbell, 1-05-2005

Garrett DeVore, 1627 Mountain Oaks Dr., Orem, UT 84097
payments@liporexin.com (801) 426-9984

Shane Richins, 2159 E Hawthorne St., Saratoga Springs, UT, 84043
ashqs@liporexin.com or shanerichins1031@yahoo.com (801) 766-2086

Dallin Bruun, 86 W 1565 N, Orem, UT 84057
dallin@liporexin.com or payments@liporexin.com (no phone listed)

Sarah Campbell, 368 Wymount Terrace Bld #6c, Provo, UT 84604
sarahmury@hotmail.com (no phone listed)

Other Info:
liporexin.com pulls its webpage content from Fibersyn's eBay store, Thank You Meg Whitman (n.b.-Meg Whitman is the CEO of eBay).

From http://badbusinessbureau.com/view.asp?id=146848&view=printer: A complaint against Garrett Devore is answered by an "Ashley" from customer service with the same email address as is listed above for Shane Richins. "Ashley" lists her location as Saratoga Springs. An "Ashley Richins" is shown at the same address at Shane.

According to the Utah County Property Records database, there is no address "1627 Mountain Oaks Dr., Orem UT 84097". However, there is are two parcels in that location that are owned by a Greggory Devore. There is a "Steve Devroe" listed in the local phone book (801) 426-9960 at that address.

liporexin.com is registered to Garrett Devore Labs, 1627 Mountain Oaks Dr., Orem UT 84097, fibersyn@yahoo.com

Garrett Devore Labs, a DBA of Garrett Devore, was cancelled on 8-14-2003 when Garrett Devore Labs, Inc. was registered. That business name registration is on "expired" status as of 8-14-2004 as a result of "Failure to File Renewal". Both show the 1627 Mountain Oaks Drive address.

None of the labels shown on the eBay listings that I saw show a company name or copyright info.

All four individuals live within 15 miles of each other. All four eBay stores use the same template.

I noted that a guest posted in this thread using the name "Shane Richins" and another with "Thank You Ashley."

Conclusion:
I believe that these four eBay stores are in fact one company that has diversified their marketing efforts so as to add to their credibility as a seller of exclusive products that have names that sound close to better-known more expensive products and in order to sell more of their products.

I have no knowledge one way or another about the efficacy of the product Liporexin or other products that are sold by these four eBay stores. I felt it was important to share the information that I found while researching these entities.

Just a note to those who are confused about the feedbacks that seem to be the same for all the products from the seller 'fibersyn' on eBay that sells 'Liporexin'. Don't be fooled by those. Those are just pre-made templates and the feedbacks there are pretty much all fabricated. Click on member's feedback score to see the feedbacks left by eBay members who've actually purchased and used the product. Also, there is a lot of incosistency in those listings - like the product retails for $72, and then just a few lines below there's a statement that the product is not sold in stores...

On the bright side, I have contacted the actual eBay member who has been using the product since September 20, 2005. She's gone from 183 lbs to size 6 and feels very positive about the product 'Liporexin'. Also, four of her family members have used the same product and they have all used significant amount of weight.

Topflite007 wrote:This query is for anyone who knows/ or is willing to reply. I have been trying to do a little background research on liporexin and lipovarin. I found everything that i needed to know about lipovarin. it seems to be a pretty solid product, (in theory) but it is kinda expensive. But as for liporexin i cant find any research or information on it. I searched liporexin on google and all sites that were found somehow lead back to an order form on ebay boasting it's 11.99 price and all. Of course there was feedback on the page, but i don't know whether to beleive it. I don't want to be scammed even if it is for only twelve bucks. So if anyone knows anything please respond.

At first I had the same problem, but I contacted some of the acual people that had the reviews on ebay from using the product. I was contacted back and they said they did really well on it. The same goes for the Cortizene that they sell.

This guy also peddles Leptovox & Lipovox - some fly-by-night diet products that they make by putting any old crap in their pills. Then they try to con people into buying it on Ebay.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR SAVE $50 AND DONT BUY THIS CRAP(LEPTOVOX/LIPOVOX)

If you did buy his shit and it didn't work for you, go ahead and write him an e-mail to his personal e-mail address : MLBProducts@aol.com

Thanks everyone! GREAT POSTS! I appreciate all the information.

Funny. I bought Leptovox and am doing pretty well with it. I bought it from Leptovox.com, not ebay. I also saw it at GNC. It is a legit company. I also don't think that is anybodys personal email address.

Yeah, I'm sure you bought Liporexin or Leptovexin or Lipovox or whatever Lipo product they're pushing and youre "doing great" with it...
No one believes you.

Also, It's not available in GNC. I checked. The only GNC it could possibly be at is the one in UTAH where the Devore's are located.

Coiincidently Garret's Brother's name is STEVE -- like your username.

Why don't you stop lying to yourself and the general public.

And BTW that AOL address is a REAL e-mail address... it's Garrett's e-mail address. You know it is. ;-)

HAHAH you silly chump..

Recently I have been worried my sister having an eating disorder.

So I have been following the history on my laptop after she has borrowed it and ebay pages for this product came up, which only made me more worried. She also had a delivery while she was away over Christmas. It was labelled beauty lotion and rattled so I did some searching online. Garret Devore Laboratories is NOT a registered company, and Garrett Devore is only 25. I would not be buying anything he is selling.

Also the return address on the packages is a wrong or fake, which will be why he doesnt recieve your returned products. Do a search on whitepages.com for UT 84042, the zip of the return address and it doesnt exist. Which is kinda worrying when he is selling weight loss products. Using Devore UT 840 on whitepages you can find his address and telephone number.
