Hello everyone. A year ago I decided I to control my weight. Nothing I was doing was giving me permanent results. I decided to step back, conduct extensive research. I came up with an adhoc weight loss plan of my own. The first six weeks I lost 6 pounds per week, and the next 10 weeks I lost about 4 pounds per week. No weird suppplements, the ones I took most never heard of. I went from 35% BF to 12% BF. Its been 8 months, still 1t 160 pounds, but now at 11% body fat.
I am compiling my research and telling my weight loss story on my website at obesetoathletic.com. And my pics are posted there too. |

Good for you! I found it a bit complicated to follow exactly what you did.

| That is EXACTLY what I want to do with my body... uh, minus the speedo. I don't think I'll ever wear a speedo. |

You look great but coming from a person with loads of thyroid problems you don't want to mess with the thyroid to much. Just wondering the thyroid pills did they induce hyperthyroidism? I know T4 and T3 can cause you to to lose weight and aid in building muscles but it has serious side effects with your reproductive system (and everything else) for men and women. I thought kelp suppressed you thyroid production and therefore could cause you to gain weight? I'm confused..

Jen, the kelp tablets were to supply iodine in my diet. Since I don't put salt on my food, I miss out on iodized salt, and I'm not a big fan of seafood another major source of iodine, I was probably not getting enough iodine in my diet. Kelp tablets filled that shortfall and allowed my thyroid to work at full capacity.
It's not the same thing as prescribed thyroid medication, yes I would not mess with that unless under doctor's orders. |

Whoops, I was logged in as a guest. Anyway Don, congrats. Like I said in the previous post, my BF wants to slim down like you. Love that your abs are starting to show.
I thought I would start a thread to see what type of Hoodia people have used and what works.
ONE RULE: No posting of affiliate links. If you're going to post a link, ONLY post to the manufacturers site and not some page that talks about the product (and is trying to sell the product), or that will be immediately flagged as spam.
This isn't a place to promote your new diet or product. I want to hear what people have tried and what has worked or failed.
I have used two products that did NOT work. One was Hoodia 57 and the other was Hoodia Gordonii Plus.
The one I am using now that IS working is called Hoodia Prime and is made by a company called Nature's Biology.
If you go to Google and you type in "Hoodia Prime Video" you'll see some pretty good evidence that people are really liking this.
I like it. It worked for me in less than 3 days.
The Manufacturer's website is located at: www.HoodiaPrime.com
I hope this was helpful.
